I'm struggling not to hate, between trump being a Russian Allie and his 51st state comments and the tariffs in the news every day it's just bringing out anger. We all know when Cheetos got elected it was going to be bad but never expected this much bs. How do we as Canadians over come out feelings of being hammered every day with this it's on the news on the coffee shop it's parents talking as they pick up their kids from school . It's going to be a good few more years before he's gone if we are lucky.some of the maga members are really pushing buttons now. . its kinda sad when China looks like the better trade partner then the USA. I really wish other provinces follow Manitoba and start stopping the flow of energys flowing to the USA. The only people I really fell bad for is point roberts they are more like Canadians.jmvho
The USA Government likes to wear people down. The USA government does it on a daily basis in the USA, and is now trying that same dirty trick with Canadians. Those people down South are bombarded on a daily basis with propaganda messages that they are victims of immigrants, Canadians, Europeans, China, cheaters, unfairness, theft ... They are supposed to feel so helpless that their only hope is to turn to the USA government to solve the problem - no questions asked.
Canadians are not accustomed to daily verbal assaults of
doom and gloom, so it is unsettling. However, we need to remember that, although the USA declared war on Canada in February - meaning life will become difficult for a while, we will land on our feet. We need to look at what we can do as individuals - boycott USA and USA products, no unnecessary spending for a while, don't listen to USA propaganda, realize that the USA government is in chaos as they destroy democracy. They will self-destruct if they remain on this path.
Look at this disgustingly disrespectful nonsense. The man cannot say anything without immediately contradicting himself while speaking in sentence fragments:
"The president sat down for an
interview with Time magazine, during which a
reporter suggested Trump may have been “trolling a little bit” with his repeated comments that Canada should be absorbed into the United States.
“
Actually, no, I’m not,” Trump said in the interview, which was conducted Tuesday.
“I think Canada, what you said that, ‘
Well, that one, I might be trolling.’ But I’m really not trolling,” Trump added. “Canada is an interesting case.”
The president repeated his frequent claims that the U.S. is losing money to Canada because of trade deficits and that there is no need for America to import Canadian products.
“We’re taking care of [Canadian] military.
...
The president told Time that Greenland “
would be very well off if they — I think it’s important for us for national security and even international security.”
