That is definitely a RAV4 not a van. I’d think that’s an actual still shot from gas station video cameras. It is odd they waited so long to send it out but perhaps it wasn’t discovered right away.

Im looking at a photo from Post #211. Notice the open sliding doors? That’s a standard feature of vans as opposed to Toyota RAV4s.

Hopefully the original poster will provide a MSM link.

First off, great find! Did you mean Fairview, Alberta? That's what it says on the poster. Also, looking at it on Google Maps, it appears as though they could have driven back up to Dease Lake on Friday got on Highway 97, taking them past where Deese and Fowler were found and driven 97 all the way to Fairview. Crazy. I'm purely speculating. They could have just as well taken a different route but it caught my attention. Judging by time frames and sun angle I want to take a guess and say those photos were shot on Saturday afternoon?
We discussed their probable route after Meadow Lake sighting. This was my marked up map of BC and AB. My hunch is that they continued south on Highway 37 after Stikine River, BC where the truck was burnt, then crossed into AB as quickly as possible.

What’s the source of this Essa memo and why is a pic of a newer blue van shown in the centre of the three photos?

I was wondering the same thing. I am very confused by the van.

I am very much inclined to believe that is not KM, mainly because there is no BS, and that is clearly not Prof Dyck's vehicle, in my opinion. JMO

Are there any photo enhancers out there? I can't speak to the middle photo, but the one on the left looks like Kam. Kam may have gone in and paid, Bryer stayed in the vehicle.

Admittedly, the one on the left does look like Kam, but until we can place him in this mysterious vehicle, and explain how he came to be driving it, I am not willing to go there. Also, unless it comes from a MSM link, we have no way of knowing if the photos are even legit, and should not even be considering it.

alone? It would be great for those of us who wonder if it's Kam crossing the frame in the gas station footage from Ft. Nelson.

Police have already said that it wasn’t Kam in the ft Nelson gas station footage.

Haha, yes, I've even said it's not Kam, I STUDIED that footage. But still the thought lingers...

The T-shirt on the left does look like the one Kam wore in Meadow Lake. This could be how the mystery man near Liard, obscured in semi-darkness, might have looked to someone driving by and getting a quick look.

Would Bryer have to stay in the vehicle after erroneously filling the truck''s diesel tank with gas? Just a thought, all MOO.

Well the photo to the right is clearly the one from the Co-op. The one in the middle looks like a blue van.

The one that's supposed to be Kam is very grainy. The shirt is a partial match (and that's very interesting) but the nose looks longer and thinner (whole face is thinner, not sure when it's supposed to have been taken).

Kam must have changed his facial hair a bit if that's him. And it's odd that the rather bright pink section of the shirt isn't there...

So it begs the question on whether they drove north after stealing Mr. Dyck's Rav4 and entered through Fort ST John....or did they take the southern escape via Prince George and on to Dawson Creek.

My instincts tell me they went back North into Dease Lake, got on Hwy 97 drove South to Hwy 64, then onto Hwy 2 passing Slave Lake on to Athabasca and then Hwy 55 to Cold Lake. As @NJSleuth91 said earlier, I also don't think they wanted to drive past the crime they had just committed after stealing the RAV. Myself personally, I think Leonard's murder scared them. I have to admit still, I'm not sold on the connection to Fowler and Deese. Alternatively someone could say they wanted to backtrack and admire their previous crime scene/drive a familiar road back through Liard Hot Springs but I'm still not convinced Kam and Bryer had anything to do with that. I do wonder if they're connected but over a month later and we still have not had anyone come forward and say their pickup and camper were even spotted in that area.

I’m not a photo enhancer, but note the yellow vertical rectangle on the right side of his shirt - lines up with the yellow part of the image on his Cathulu shirt from the co-op video images.

And if you compare the image of this vehicle to the photo of a 2011 Rav 4 posted by @kmclaren on pg 13, all of the features on the rear line up. The still photo of this vehicle seems distorted by the surveillance camera so the side features seem off but I think it’s correct. Also, it can’t really be compared to the photos of the burned out Rav because the act of burning has caused some features to appear different (lack of windows, etc)

I think it’s a match, I just think the surveillance camera distorts the images a little.

ETA: I wish I could post a side-by-side but I’m on a phone.

In addition to being grainy, the entire pic on the left is much darker than the one in the middle. Looks like it was taken in full darkness, unlike the one in the middle, where shadow is evident.

I don’t see open sliding doors at all in the image??

Guessing it was night and there are lights near the pumps. The shot on the left is probably coming out of the payment area and maybe a light is out. Or the gas station has a crappy surveillance system.

It is possible there might be photo enhancers in this thread. ;)

I kept the processing minimal; just a contrast brightening shift plus a little depixilation.
I think that is K. It's either him, or that look-alike from the social media post.

Edit to add; the subject who looks like K also appears to be wearing the shirt K was wearing in the Meadow Lake vid.
