I keep coming back to this frustration --
let's say LE isn't focused on MR... whether they've cleared him or ruled him out, (whatever language you want to use) they just aren't releasing that information to the public for some reason. They're comfortable saying that Dylan spent the night at MR's and was last seen safe at the house when MR left at 7:30. MR isn't involved.
Why isn't there loud, public emphasis on those four hours - 7:30 - 11:30?
I know LE has been asking for footage from 6pm on Sunday night all the way through noon on Monday from the beginning and I think that's thorough and good on them.
But if Dylan was kidnapped/abducted or met with foul play during those narrowed down four hours, and there's really only one way out of Bayfield -- I would think flooding the public and businesses with requests for eyewitnesses or surveillance footage, etc would be crucial. I feel like over a month later precious time has been wasted as surveillance cameras record over themselves, memories fade, people who may have been in town are long gone, etc.
Whether Dylan's disappearance was random and he's far away with some dangerous freak or whether he was targeted by someone for some reason and is being hidden, those four hours while still a long period of time become much more significant and helpful than trying to look at 8pm - 11:30am. If LE thinks there's a chance he's still in or around Bayfield, Vallecito, Durango or that general area wouldn't it make more sense to reach out to the public and ask locals if any friends/family/neighbors were unaccounted for during those hours and if they've been acting strange?
I don't understand the strategy here if Dylan was last seen Monday morning, but I guess that's why I'm here and not working with the task force. I hope this is one of the cases where we're not meant to know what's going on.
