Thanks, ILikeToBendPages. I've never heard Fancy Full Rinse. It suspect she dyed her hair on the third as she is too vain to wait long to pose for a selfie to show it off Matt's or Darryl s place, probably. Another reason to keep Matt off the stand.

IIRC, there was a mention of a lengthy visit to a beauty salon in Salinas, a few hours. She got a Brazilian, but there was nothing really to account for the number of hours she spent there.

Lol. I wasn't trying to correct you on anything Katharine. The posts just made me curious so I rewatched the testimony for timeline info

June 3 Jodi shows up at Darryl's, close to Monterey, around 7am. She ate breakfast with him and son Jack. She checked her email on his computer. She got the gas cans (she had called him twice in late May and early June asking to borrow them).
She leaves but calls Brewer back (juan says btwn 9-10am). Oops she is turning around. She had a remote control he needed

She is depositing money in Washington Mutual in Monterey:


10:10 a.m. $400 to account # ending 8006
10:11 a.m. $300 to account # ending 7148
10:15 a.m. $100 to account # ending 7148

IMO Juan was hinting that during that time 10:30 - 2 she was getting her hair dyed and her nails and waxing done. IIRC Jodi testified she got her nails done


At 2:12, 2:25 and 2:28 she's taking selfies on the Helio phone


The next record of her on June 3 is

Salinas, California (aprox 20 miles from Monterey)

At 3:22 p.m., Arias goes shopping at a Wal-Mart and buys two facial cleansers a gas can and 2 unidentified items. The sale total was $43.90 and she paid cash.

But I do want to be corrected where I have info totally incorrect. And I know what you are saying. I, too, appreciate an accurate timeline. Having said that, a huge thank you that it made you curious. Juan certainly knows what he is talking about. There is a huge amount of time unaccounted for (and nails do not take that long). It just appears that the hair had to have been done during that time period. And knowing Jodi as we do of course she would want to take a selfie after. I always felt that she was kind of vain/conceited (thought she was hot stuff). Unless there has been something in her journals where she laments about her appearance. (JMO)

I think (correct me if I am wrong) but when she rented the car, wasn't she at her half-sister's house, the bro-in-law might have been the man the rental guy saw with her? He was the one who said she was a blonde at the time of the rental. IIRC Juan did not ask Darryl the color of her hair and I recall at the time thinking that it was odd that he did not go there. Thank you for the tidbit that she did talk about changing her hair color in her journal in March of 2008. (hmmm interesting) That selfie she took in the car sure looked like a freshly dyed hair job, however was there a date for that particular photo? I still am of the belief the hair was dyed some where along the way on her long driving journey. (JMO)

BBM - I agree. I also came across some old posts recently where JM had questioned the DT's Dworkin about the pics from the camera that had been stolen which I'm now looking to see if I can confirm that that was the one that the big sex tape came from. JM specifically asked if the pic that came up first when Dworkin checked it, the one with JA and her lil sister, could have been taken earlier and then uploaded with a different date(ie. 2007 to just before it got "stolen" on May 18, 2008). That pic shows JA with basically brown hair with blonde highlights, just like the "photoshoot" pics, as opposed to the all dark brunette car pics that were taken on her last trip to see TA.

Going back to the last journal, I noticed that JA claims to have napped at MM's(p.35), after going back there from getting the gas cans and doing her banking .... but then said she needed to stop for another nap at McD's, even though she'd had a good nap at her brother Carl's, no mention of MM again. Perhaps instead of napping at MM's that's when she dyed her hair, we all know there's no way her family would testify against her so unless someone got a screen capture at Walmart, McD's, or when she filled up just before leaving CA for Mesa we have to just trust the dates on the pics, something I'm loathe to do. :/

I would just like to point out that this Heliophone was not the one that got "stolen" and resurfaced two years later with the sex tapes(though I'm wondering about the May 26, 2008 over 2 hour long "dirty" talk that JA speaks of, were they all compiled?)... and the penis pics, or were those just from her broken external hard drive?

Was she really talking about after she killed Travis in this testimony? Does this account for the missing hours between Mesa and Utah? The hours she said she was out of gas, sleeping on the side of the road?

I think she is talking about when she left Mesa and Travis was giving her the double bird. But she never said anything happened about Travis doing anything except having to put up with her until she did leave.

I have not read the journal entrees, but I do have a question. Does anyone believe that Jodi was truly suicidal? If she was does anyone think that maybe her intention was to kill Travis with the knife then shoot herself? I am not even sure that I think it is a possibility, it's just that there are so many comments from statements in her journal about being suicidal.

Her journals mention wanting to die and express depression. I'm not convinced she was suicidal as she never made any attempts that we know of (beyond an alleged 'nick' to her wrist in jail). No proof at all. It struck me recently that the time she asked Matt for a gun could have been intended to kill Travis instead. This was in 2007 and not long after the original break-up, if I remember correctly. Some of the dark thoughts expressed just before then in her journal mirror the dark thoughts before killing Travis. I bet she was angry as hell after they split up. I bet she dreamed of revenge. I suspect the seed was planted then - to kill him. It grew until it had to be released.

She says that her father called her that same night, about 4am) and left a message saying that he had had a nightmare about her and couldn't go back to sleep. She thought that was beyond coincidence, and that she had really cracked that night.

Is the horrific night she was referring to the night she sneaked into Travis' backyard and watched through the window to see him making out with a woman, or did that happen later?

If it WAS that night, her father told police that SHE called HIM, in hysterics that the man she was going to marry was cheating on her.

Remember Jodi saying this in the TH interview - I took pictures of myself during that time not specifically for that purpose, but just being on the road, - could that remark be the same for either way - Jodi saying that Matt M was Yreka and saw the bruises after she left Arizona - or her trip to Mesa to kill Travis. Little bit of truth in every lie.

I have wondered if Jodi had Mat chock her and leave bruises, take photos and blame Travis. She had just moved back to Yreka after leaving Mesa. So around April 12th?

IIRC and I need to go back and read; she said Travis told her she could come over anytime just call first.


Jodi's journal - Wednesday July 27, 2007 (they "broke up" on June 29th, 2007 and three weeks later she's moving to Mesa) she is in Palm Desert at the house before it was foreclosed on, and then going to Mesa. IIRC the house was sold at auction on July 14th 2008. The day before Jodi was arrested.

Monday October 1,2007 - Jodi makes a list of that she is grateful for, and number four on the list is her Olympus Camera.. I can remember who was asking and or what thread it was that was trying to figure out that kind or style she had. If you go looking online a the images you can see two photos of Jodi wearing a white jacket holding her camera in front of her.

Maybe Jodi was finally getting the message that Travis would never marry her. DeAnna was in the picture and then there was Lisa. Much younger, prettier, more educated, and Travis wanted her both sexually and to marry her. And Jodi was only for sex.

Hmm on October 3rd Jodi is disgusted with herself didn't make much money that day - but she drove out to Buckeye to help out Travis who ran out of gas on his way back from California to Mesa. Hmmm makes you think of a third gas can doesn't it?


I was pointing out that Jodi was holding a camera in two photos. I don't know the dates.

And to correct myself the house in Palm Desert was auctioned off on October 1 2007

Jodi's May 26, 2008 entries, Jodi discusses their fight and seems to downplay it. She admits going into Travis’s Facebook page, claiming he gave her his password, but she says she hadn’t logged into his account for a week. She writes that Travis asked her not to do it again.


Had Jodi posted something on Facebook–a comment or photo–that was meant to thwart a budding relationship with the woman Travis just met? We don't know exactly what was posted but it could be the catalyst for the horrible May 26 fight

BBM - Or, did she erase something sent from TA, not just on her own end but from his? As I just asked on the other thread, where's the email TA said he'd sent her re the May 26th argument? When she said she hadn't logged into his acct for a week, was that a week since the murder?

Is anyone else haivng trouble viewing all the pages in the journals? I can read about ten or more then they all go blank, and I go to the next one and it does the same.

That happens when I read it, too. Eventually I figured out to a) make a mental note of which page I was on, b) refresh the page (which puts you back to page 1), then navigate using the slider bar at the bottom of the slideshow to the page where I left off.
