I was responding to someone suggesting the message could have been sent by the landlady, to herself. And others just above our comments are talking of coercion regarding the texts. My point was that given we know the police saw the sisters on the CCTV at the exact time the message was sent to the landlord, they would likely be able to see that one or both of them are on their phone as they are on the bridge, corroborating the fact it was them that sent the message, and not anyone else either by having access to the phone, or that they were being forced to send it.They will have the phone records, with the pings between phone masts to a fairly accurate area, as well as the pings when text was sent if sent via traditional text not WhatsApp/iMessage which is encrypted message wise, although they would still show be able to see who the message was to with either of those. So they wouldn't need to see on CCTV to confirm one of the sisters at the Bridge/Water location sent the message.
Unless people thing they were coerced, not physically in person.....but not sure how that works and relates to the disappearance.
