To be fair, the authorities have never asked the public if they've seen the sisters and given full descriptions of what they were wearing at the time of their disappearances as they usually would describe what they were wearing.
They've put out the first CCTV capture to go with the initial appeals, and then the one of them visiting the bridge earlier in the day as more of an update. I believe that one is very grainy as it will be a cropped version of a much wider shot.
CCTV doesn't have to be crystal clear for them to be traced through the city. Two females, at a probably pretty quiet time of the (Monday) night will be easy to make out on even grainy footage.
One question I have with the theory of them masterminding their disappearances via the guise of suicide/accidental death by way of entering the river.
Why go to that hassle when they could probably have quietly just left their home and into a vehicle without any CCTV footage seeing them. No bank accounts used for several weeks and the conclusion would be they are missing and presumed dead without any clues of them leaving their property. They'd still be in the same situation as now, without having to walk by a river on a freezing night for the cover up.
Both scenarios require outside (underworld) help, assumes they are dead....and theoretically they can then go onto another country/area with assumed identities/smuggled across borders to start a new life?
Not sure what those thinking this is intentional disappearance are thinking is their next move or why the need to fake their death than simply just vanish?
'What have the police said?'
