I am already irritated by defense with their can the jury be instructed they can lower or remove their masks because constitutionally we get to look at the jurors faces.

Yes, I am irritated as well.

Travis was willing to "help the police detain AA" ?!!!

I cannot listen to the BS!!!!

It's hard for me. I have my personal opinion, but then I have my lawyer hat and have to remember that in our judicial system people are innocent until proven guilty.

I wish I had the willpower to change it, but I'm too engrossed to stop watching.

TM put himself in danger protecting the community by trying to help police catch AA. Duty, honor, I may not make it through this opening. I am already fired up. Can't imagine how I'm going to be when Gough gets up there. sigh.

Poor residents in Satilla Shores couldn't even let their children outdoors to play they were so so scared of the crime wave in their neighborhood. [HUGE eyeroll]

The neighborhood facebook page about car break-ins and lawnmowers stolen is not going to help the defense. MOO IMO

This is ridiculous. Gregory McMichael was not in the service when killed Ahmaud Arbery.

Lawyers for the McMichaels last month asked a judge to ban mention of a decal on their car of the Confederate flag, which was flown by the pro-slavery southern states during the US Civil War. Ahmaud Arbery: What do we know about the case?

I live in a community where there was a rash of car breakins. We all put up cameras, some of the men just walked around the neighborhood at night and if they saw anything they called the police. No one was cornered, no one was chased, no one was shot, no one died. Stupid to bring up the FB and NextDoor posts. I'm sure the jurors have that experience as well.

Also - he's now saying English was worried about theft - then why no fence to keep people out? Why no signs?

This is Travis' attorney. I believe Gregory's attorney is doing his opening statement after the prosecution finishes their case in chief.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.. but didn't Rubin first say that he was concerned about the children taking wood (potentially getting hurt I think), and now he said that he didn't care that the children took the wood, but Arbery had no right to be there at night?

Yes, you heard it right. the mental gymnastics required to make this not murder are simply not possible.

Good luck finding a community anywhere that doesn’t have petty property crimes.

Yep, they're going with the MMs had reason to believe AA stole the thousands of dollars worth of stuff out of E's boat. It really is very much too bad English couldn't be forced to testify in court.

I have packages stolen off my front porch (which is locked)... all the time... I never shot anyone... I have asked them to leave...because they are on private property...the police will not come out...

He did NOT reach into his waistband. What a lie. And the 911 call by TM is proof it's a lie.
