Yes, as you head north out of Cedar Rapids on 380 that BP station is the last place you’ll pass - then just miles and miles of nothing.

If the sighting in the Cedar Rapids “metro” is a separate incident I’d really like to know more precisely where. Cedar Rapids can be kind of a rough town (by Iowa standards anyway), it’s got some not-so-safe neighborhoods.

"I want to tell him: Where are you? When will you come?" said Chris Bagley's son, Mason Bagley.

Mason is Chris and Courtney Bagley's oldest child. When he was born, he changed their lives.

"The day he saw Mason he became a different person. He was so in love with him," said Courtney Bagley. "He would not be able to tolerate not being with his kids and not being around us."

Bagley stepped out December 13th, with an acquaintance. His wife said there was something off about how he said goodbye that day.

I read several articles about his disappearance; they all say pretty much the same thing except one said that his wife stated that he left with someone she didn’t know very well. And that his wallet, keys and truck were all left home.

Just thinking aloud, if he left his wallet behind, I guess he grabbed his debit card first? So maybe he was going somewhere to pay for something, to buy something, or to withdraw money from his account first?

He had prior alcohol issues, but I haven’t seen any mention of drugs. Anyone else?

And I think the various people who have talked to his parents were relaying what they’ve heard happened, much like the Bakersfield 3 case — no one wants to go to the police with the information (fearful?) but they want to pass on the info to help parents search.

I do wish we had an insider join us here.

The BP station looks like it’s relatively new, large, clean, well lit. No doubt it has cameras inside and out. All reports just say his card was swiped, but not specifying whether it was at the pump or in the store.

Have we heard if the police are doing anything with the camera footage? (Hopefully they did collect it). You’d think they could track down a vehicle that way, either at the pump or pulling in to the lot. The card holder had to get to the station somehow.

Edit: cameras inside store clearly seen on the ceiling and walls of interior photo.

I live in Cedar Rapids and Robins is not a crime ridden area. As with many of the old farm towns surrounding CR, new home developments are continuing to be built creating suburb like towns in the Corridor. My feeling will not be popular, but I feel as though the Sheriff's Department, it's not in the city limits, is holding information tightly to their vest because they have evidence which may implicate a family member who conspired with other individuals to dispose of him. The wife's story makes no sense. At first he gave her a peck on the cheek, he left with an unidentified person at 10:30 PM, now it's a female, then she gets a text from him saying he loves her. Wallet left at home.
Interview on January 27th, the kiss was passionate and he looked into her eyes, then texts, I Love You.
The text is a ruse ....it was to buy time. Oh, he sent a text, no need to worry until next day.
She looks at kids to make herself cry....she does not talk about how much SHE misses him and makes a huge deal about how much he loves his dog. The parents don't mention her, but are concerned about the grand children. The last tv interview has siblings separate from the wife and kids. I think the wife is involved.

Ooh, that’s a good catch. I didn’t watch any of the tv interviews but body language tells a lot! I did find it odd that the “acquaintance” who picked him up acts very much as if they know the wife, that they’re friendly toward each other, and this person called Chris “an awesome friend.” I just got the impression that Chris and she were long-time friends. I mean, his wife didn’t seem to be too upset about him driving off with another female at 10:30 at night.

In regard to the address he was last seen at around 4:30-4:45 am, the family has said the police have this address and know who was there. My opinion only, but these people he visited seem to have pretty sketchy backgrounds (think weapons - lots of weapons, drugs, meth labs, stolen property, organized burglaries, etc.). MOO, but if these people might also be tied to a “1%’er” motorcycle gang, I could see why LE would have to move delicately. I just hope they’ve got other agencies involved (FBI, DEA) if that should ever be the case?

Sadly, there are several others missing from this area, some who have the same “circle of friends”:

Josh Wellman, missing 11/12/15

IA - IA - Joshua Wellman, 35, Cedar Rapids, 12 Nov 2015

James Booher, missing 5/31/14, truck found abandoned 6/9/14, POI possibly burned his body in their yard

IA - IA - James Booher, 51, Marion, 31 May 2014

David McAllister, missing 5/10/17

IA - IA - David McAllister, 22, Bettendorf, 10 May 2017

The wording here seems to say that the sighting in the Cedar Rapids metro area refers to the BP station (at least that’s how I’m interpreting it).

That was the last time they saw him, or heard from him. He left calls and text messages unanswered. He left his truck in the driveway. Police say he was last spotted in the Cedar Rapids metro area in the early morning hours December 14. Stewart says it was at the BP gas station off of County Home Road and I-380.

Family of missing Walker man, Chris Bagley, praying for answers

As @LinzLH said, this is not a high crime area. In fact, where the BP sits is barely even a populated area (pic from Google Maps Street View). It’s well lit and clean, I’ve stopped there many times and have never felt anything even the slightest bit sketchy. I just don’t believe anything happened there.

Other wording that doesn’t seem clear to me...

Is the person Christopher left with same person he was last seen with? Is this person or people actually named anywhere? Why are details so darn hard to come by?

I can’t post it bc it’s not in MSM, but rather from the family’s site but I believe a female picked him up at his house, they grabbed snacks at BP, then girl dropped him at a guy’s house off Mt. Vernon Road in Cedar Rapids. Girl went home, Chris went inside the house.

Where are you guys finding all of this info? I hadn’t read any of this.

Chris’s dad posts a lot on FB about his search for his son, almost daily, actually. His mom and wife do, too. When you start reading thru the messages, you’ll see so much that seems “off” and if you chase the trail, it becomes a lot more clear. Something is really not right here. Only a small piece of the story is being told in the news but there is way more to it. If you go back and re-read the news articles about his disappearance after you’ve done your own searching, you’ll be left with apples in one hand, oranges in the other. It’s very bizarre, and makes me feel like no one really wants the truth after all. And I feel like the key players really aren’t telling the full truth, either — so what do they really want?

Lmk what you think once you’ve checked it out?

I have been following this also. Like others here I've picked up info through the family's facebook and such. But what's read there cannot be posted here. I feel so bad for this poor family; they seem so close and all are heart broken and just wanting answers. I don't think the wife is involved, however, I do wonder if the gal who picked him up isn't saying all that she knows. The family seems to think he was taken against his will and could be anywhere in the country. I wonder what leads them to think this. IMO..I think Chris is no longer alive, sadly :(:(
