True. It happens quite often
But in this particular case, the alleged victim went on a national press junket, detailing for the nation the horrors he experienced st the hands of 2 whites who tried to lynch him and who called him vile names and poured bleach on him
It was shocking and everyone gathered to support Jussie snd to revile the evil attackers in the MAGA hats
So when the evidence was found and it showed that it was not as he said at all but it was actually his 2 friends that pretended to attack him—-that is big news
He should not be able to pretend that he was telling the truth h anymore. That is just continuing the hate crime hoax
I actually think when anyone makes a HATE crime false claim the hoax itself should be classified as a hate crime as well.
In this case JS specifically targeted a specific race, and a specific political group to spew his false hate crime against.
When anyone purposefully, falsely targets a particular race, gender,or any political party, then that IS committing a hate crime against those people. Imo
That was JSs intentions all along when doing this hateful hoax.
JS was wanting others to hate white men specifically who wear MAGA hats, and one political party.
How is that not a specifically targeted hate crime?
It shouldn't matter if it was a hoax, although that is even more reprehensible within itself.
Imo, but what is more important was JSs motivation behind his false claims, and his preplanned intents on who he planned to target.
He willfully perpetrated this hate crime against innocent people, intentionally. Imo, in order to bring hate, and divisiveness against this particular race, gender, and when he targeted one specific political party.
Imo not only is he guilty of the 16 felonies, but he is also guilty of committing a hate crime himself. IMOO A very dangerous hate accusation against these particular people as well.
And tragically he was given a national platform for weeks to continue his hate tirade.
