Does anybody have what medication he was given? I have read it somewhere but can't find a link.

IIRC It was Haldol orally every day + an injection of Haldol once a week.

I was a Certified Med Tech back in the 80s and administered this medication. It has horrible side affects like (Tardive Dyskinesia) as well as others. I'm surprised its even still around. I'm wondering what was going on with RA for him to be administered this medication? If someone knows?

I don't know if it has been mentioned here but Lawyer Lee mentioned today that the State wanted to introduce some content that was discovered connected to an alleged email of Richard Allen.

The defense objected.

Lawyer Lee called it a possible "bombshell" for the prosecution.

The problem is that he had received the majority of discovery before the confessions began, which would include photos of the crime scene etc.

He really needs to say something that only the killer would know that wasn’t in discovery.

again I’m assuming that what the prosecution is going to attempt to use as “what only the killer would know” is going to be that he used a box cutter, but that wasn’t testified to as the murder weapon. It was actually quite strangely suggested as an option by the doctor who had changed his opinion after he had been deposed.

The handwritten note asking to confess was 3d of March. The discovery was shared a month later. I am confident there were confessions in between.

He was refusing to comply, plain and simple.

I have shared extensive studies on the percentages of ppl behind bars that are administered Haldol. It ranges from 16 to 50% depending on the facility... long story short, in American and British prisons they use it liberally to avoid dealing with any non compliance issues.

Is it terrible? Yes

Does it make RA special? Not in my opinion. There is a large enough sample that LE can testify that Haldol does not cause spontaneous confessions.

Dr. Monica Wala, the lead psychologist at Westville who had therapy sessions with Allen, testified his mental health began to deteriorate in April 2023, around the time he began confessing. Allen started expressing suicidal thoughts and feelings of hopelessness. He was seen banging his head on the wall to the point that his face was severely bruised, Wala testified. He began eating his own feces. His thoughts were disjointed. During some sessions, Wala said Allen was trembling and his eyes were twitching.

I saw some wild numbers of usage on some .gov papers! I worked with CQC for some years so I'm aware that there are more hoops to jump in the UK to involuntarily medicate a prisoner, but the current situation feels like we are turning into the us, what with the trial run of tasers and whatnot but I digress.

But 100% will defer to your knowledge, I'm assuming that the high percentage of medication is because of prior conditions?

Tuesday, October 29th:
*Trial continues (Day 10) (@ 9am ET) – IN – Abigail Joyce Williams (13) & Liberty Rose Lynn German (14) (Missing Feb. 13, 2017, found killed Feb. 14, 2017, after walking on a local hiking trail & were discovered around noon about 50 feet from the north bank of Deer Creek which is about 0.5 miles from the Monon High Bridge Trail, Delphi) – *Richard “Ricky/Rick” Matthew Allen (44 @ time of crime/50/now 52) arrested & booked (10/26/22) into the Carroll County Jail & charged & arraigned (10/28/22) with 2 counts of murder while committing or attempting to commit kidnapping of both victims. Plead not guilty. Held without bond.
Amended charges (1/18/24/granted 3/18/24): 2 counts of felony murder (knowingly & intentionally), 2 counts of murder (while committing or attempting to commit kidnapping of both victims). Transferred to White County jail from Carroll County for security reasons. And was transferred (11/2/22) to IN. DOC at Westville Correctional Facility at a more secure facility. Was awaiting transfer to Westville Correctional Facility but Judge Gull denied move (6/15/23). Trial began on 10/18/24. Mondays thru Fridays from 9am to 6pm. Saturdays from 9am to noon.

10/28/24 Monday, Trial Day 9: State witnesses: Stacy Bozinovski, an Indiana State Police forensic scientist, did DNA analysis. LaPorte County Sheriff Maj. Pat Cicero. Cicero is a LaPorte County sheriff’s major with previous experience as a crime scene investigator. Cicero said his specialty while as a CSI was blood stains.

Colour me shocked.

Found in a catch-all of branches/growth on the creek's edge about 50-ish feet away from ground zero. I do agree though, it should have been swabbed.

Not if he likely got that info from LE or disclosure or rumours around the prison or whatnot. Moo.

I also can’t even begin to guess what he claimed the motive was, amidst all his confessions. It would be a stretch for me to believe somebody could falsely make 60+ unsolicited confession but to also make up a motive for why they killed two innocent young girls, that to me verges on pure psycho. Somebody who could verbally express, yet only imagining, they committed this murder so frequently would be just as capable of having committed the actual crime in my opinion. I do believe the confessions will be game over for him. MOO

I think he'll say it was sexual assault/rape but once he was interupted his plans all went out the window and it became a kill and capture/kill scenario. I personally think he always meant to kill them and leave no witnesses. He was CVS guy and it was a small town. JMO

When did discovery begin? I don’t recall offhand, but he began confessing not long after his arrest.

Other articles like on Carrol County Comet and wthr.com don't go through all the items individual but do state that all items found in the water and on the bodies were tested.

Thank you for clarifying that, it did seem odd they wouldn't test it. I bet it was just something someone else lost and had been in the water at that catch-all before the murders ergo nothing on it. MO

Could be. But then - surely - this wasn’t his first kill? I’m seriously asking, it boggles the mind.
