Kyron's parents' statements, interviews

I have seen this stated before. Do you have any link from LE or parents that he rode the bus every morning except for the morning of June 4th? TIA

He ordinarily took the bus every morning. It was a reasonable expectation that he could and would go to his classroom, just as he did every morning after getting off the bus.

I don't know why SM would leave him in the hallway 150 ft from the door. On a day like that, it would seem reasonable to walk him to class. No other people around and a long hallway....seems odd. She didn't have the baby with her and she made a special trip to see the projects, why not just finish it up and walk the boy to his classroom?

Well, if Kaine was home at noon, then that narrows the timeline concerning SM.

No, I don't have a link for that. That's not what I said. What I said was:

He ordinarily took the bus every morning.

Nevertheless, I do have a link wherein LE (Shults) indicates that Kyron ordinarily took the bus every morning. It's from the press conference of June 12. The info was provided to Shults from Kyron's parents.

Bootsy, his cat, would follow him to the school bus stop every day.

ETA: In addition to the Bootsy the cat evidence, in the June 5 presser, LE stated that Kyron rides the bus every morning except when there's a special event.

What leads you to believe she didn't have the baby with her?

Bean do we have any info about the baby that morning? Another question I have is the flyer in any of our threads? Thank You in advance! I have not seen the flyer.

if she had the baby with her that morning.. it is my assumption/thoughts that LE would have included the baby in the flier/questionnaire that was passed out as that would have been a pivotal visual clue to anyone noticing her around that morning.

ETA: the LACK of the baby being in or mentioned in that questionnaire tells me that LE is not looking for people to sight her with the baby. ((and the baby has been confirmed to be somewhere else))

Nowhere does it state that Kaine came home at noon. For all we know he came home just in time to meet Kyron at the bus.

I too have questioned this from day one. Just never could make any sense of her NOT just walking the other 150 feet to the classroom? She didn't have baby, wasn't in hurry to get to work, etc.. Seemingly she went the whole 9 yards with his school events(i.e. the video recordings we have that she was the one recording from a school musical performance to something as small as an oral report given in class on bridges).... So why on that particular(and ended up to be very tragic)morning would SM NOT have walked those few feet and say their goodbyes at his classroom?... Which along the lines as far as subject matter leads me into WHY she would NOT have attended the Talent Show?(she attended events much more minor than this in the past)and her being at Skyline that morning it was on their marquee with the time of the event. And other parents have stated they were discussing the afternoon's talent show that morning during the science fair. So, I find it quite UNbelievable that now it seems as tho KH is stating that he has heard "rumors" of this but nothing confirmed??!!? WTH? Your wife could very easily confirm this. So, these events not adding up I have not been able to get past these things "standing out" in my mind...

Some folks have mentioned that the baby was with a sitter, but I have never seen a link provided for a reliable source. Day-care has also been mentioned but, again, no link. Perhaps the baby's whereabouts that day has become part of the investigation and is not being discussed publicly; hence no verification, only speculation. jmo

We also have to remember that he rode the bus most days and made it from the bus to his classroom without an adult as a personal guide. I often dropped my kids off out front of the school in the mornings.

Me, too. I dropped mine off in front of the door, and the classroom was just inside that door. They would have been embarrassed if I had walked them in, holding their hand, because at 7, they wanted their friends to think they were big and brave.
I'm sure Terri regrets not making sure he got to his classroom... but what's done is done, and I don't think we should keep beating her up about it. No one could have predicted him disappearing from inside the school.

I just watched the video of T's interview made by KOIN. It was not exactly the same as the one I first watched, probably a different 'edition' of it as T didn't mention the door. But it was very interesting in relationship to what you are talking about here IMO.

The reporter said T and Kyron crossed paths in the hallway as they had both been visiting different project exhibits. Evidently Kyron had just come up the stairs from how I heard it because T said he went down the stairs and never saw Kyron again. Kyron mentioned to T he was going to see the 'cool' electrical project which had to have been on the 2nd floor, right?

Then Kore Harlan, a very reputable reporter for KOIN stated it was about 9:45 when the SF was about to end that the students started heading to their classrooms to regroup. It was then the sub who had been hired to help with the SF noticed the group only had 5 and Kyron was not there. Then Ms Porter, the teacher said he was probably in the bathroom or getting a drink of water, said she was leaving and then left.

T also said he saw Kyron's mom leave the school but Kyron was not with her.

Who knows if Kore got everything correct and it was 9:45 when Kyron was noticed as absent. If Terri left at 8:45 that means Kyron roamed about for an hour looking at the projects. It was never pointed out what time T and Kyron crossed paths but it had to be before 9:45 as they were still looking. And it also means T had also been there from 8:45 which is when Terri says she left.

It makes me wonder if Terri really walked upstairs with Kyron {where his classroom was at the west end of the hall], unless it was the east stairway she walked up and she was temporarily parked by that outside door on the main floor.. That hallway would be the length of the upstairs classrooms minus the 2 stairwells.

It is so hard to know, as Kyron could have been walking up the east stairs - we just need more info.

I just wish they'd release the whole T tape uncut and without editing !

I know this has been discussed to death, but when did this tidbit of info (the 150 feet from Kyron in a hallway of school) come about? It seems sooooooo very specific. TIA

Maybe LE measured from where Terri said she was standing to where he was when she waved at him?

Watching that kgw video again,Desiree and Tony stayed in Kaine's home at the beginning. And she says they live near them now,I can't see any change in Desiree's countenance when Terri is brought up.Kaine says they didn't check thier computers only the home and property. If they suspected Terri, wouldn't they check computers in the home?I don't know, maybe they don't have anymore to go on than what we're hearing.

no mention of the baby in the flier.. like.. did you see this woman and her baby, etc..

If the baby was assumed to be along I think they would have mentioned it as the baby would have made her stick out a bit. jmhoo...

i think LE knows exactly where the baby was that morning, who was watching her, and HOW LONG they were watching her for. Next question that is burning in my mind is when did she pick her baby up.. and how long of a lag time alone did she have from 0845..? For some reason I bet that is one of her "trouble spots" right now JMHOO

Or it could be he never actually went to his office that day. Intel has a lot of employees that often do work out of their homes, my bosses wife for one. I would think Kaine would have a desk setup in the house for when he did his work from home. Even a low profile person like myself has a nice set-up. I even have a fax machine. ;}

If Kaine had got into his vehicle after talking to Kyron outside as he fed his cat, I would feel differently. But no. He said he was going to work and headed back into the house.

Just saying, and wish they'd release more info.

PS: I'm still wondering if Terri took Kyron to school in the truck, did KH drive the Mustang if he did go to his office? Or would he have waited till she got back with the truck to drive to Intel? I have questions about both vehicles being driven that morning and am hoping we learn something from the questionaires about that. Yea, sure. LOL

The article came out within a day or two of when LE took the media on a tour of Kyron's classroom. The reporter didn't give a source for the info. Just stated it.

In both the raw interview, and an interview on this morning's Today show, I noticed that Kyron's dad said that he could not comment first hand on Terri's feelings, etc. I don't remember the exact wording, but I noticed that he seemed to be trying to separte himself from her. I took away two things from this: it sounded like he was not directly speaking to her (maybe he holds too much resentment toward her, since she was the last one to see her??), or maybe the POI is related/connected to Terri, and Kaine has been instructed to sound like he is not "with" Terri, as some sort of strategy to connect with the suspect??

Maybe I am looking into this, and he meant nothing other than he can't speak for Terri first hand, because he ISN'T Terri, but I just thought he somehow seemed to be distancing himself from her in both interviews. Did anyone else feel this way?
