Dr. Priya Khanna, 43, a NJ-based nephrologist suffering from COVID-19 was in an ICU as people searched for blood plasma to treat her.

"Plasma donor needed urgently for my beautiful young sister who dedicated her life to helping others. Dr. Priya Khanna is a board certified nephrologist in NJ who is beloved by all who know her. She is currently in critical condition with COVID 19, intubated on a ventilator in Clara Mass Medical Center(RWJBH) in Belleville NJ and is fighting for her life! Anyone that was COVID 19 positive and symptom free for 2 weeks is an eligible donor and if willing to donate, please PM me! Save a life!"

Dr. Priya Khanna passed away today at 3:27am. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and the patients she cared for. We honor Dr. Khanna and all physicians across the world who have lost their lives to COVID-19.

Stephen Farkas Somerset - Stephen Farkas, of Somerset, NJ (formerly of Milltown, NJ), passed away April 16, 2020, after a courageous fight with COVID19.

He graduated from New Brunswick High School and The College of New Jersey (then called Trenton State Teachers' College). Steve's career in education included positions as physical education teacher, vice principal, and assistant to the superintendent.

Tinton Falls - Daniel Bryant Hall passed away peacefully on April 17, 2020 at the Chelsea at Tinton Falls after a courageous battle with dementia and complications from COVID-19. Daniel was born to Nancy Hall and raised in Eatontown, NJ by his mother and grandparents, Blanche and Fielding Gwynn.

Daniel was employed as a livery driver with Clayton Limousine Service in Spring Lake for over 10 years.

Shrewsbury - Frederick J. Menkens, 82, of Shrewsbury passed away on April 16, 2020 at Riverview Hospital after a short non-COVID related illness.

Born on November 13, 1937 in Jersey City, NJ, he was the son of the late Harold and Rita (Smith) Menkens. They relocated to Atlantic Highlands in 1943.

He loved making outdoor spaces look beautiful with his gift of planting and gardening. He adored his dog Bo and taking walks along the harbor in Atlantic Highlands breathing in the sea air and admiring the boats while reminiscing about his childhood. Being on a boat fishing was his happy place.
