Dr. Priya Khanna, 43, a NJ-based nephrologist suffering from COVID-19 was in an ICU as people searched for blood plasma to treat her.

Dr. Priya Khanna passed away today at 3:27am. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and the patients she cared for. We honor Dr. Khanna and all physicians across the world who have lost their lives to COVID-19.

Tinton Falls - Daniel Bryant Hall passed away peacefully on April 17, 2020 at the Chelsea at Tinton Falls after a courageous battle with dementia and complications from COVID-19. Daniel was born to Nancy Hall and raised in Eatontown, NJ by his mother and grandparents, Blanche and Fielding Gwynn.
Daniel was employed as a livery driver with Clayton Limousine Service in Spring Lake for over 10 years.
Shrewsbury - Frederick J. Menkens, 82, of Shrewsbury passed away on April 16, 2020 at Riverview Hospital after a short non-COVID related illness.
Born on November 13, 1937 in Jersey City, NJ, he was the son of the late Harold and Rita (Smith) Menkens. They relocated to Atlantic Highlands in 1943.
He loved making outdoor spaces look beautiful with his gift of planting and gardening. He adored his dog Bo and taking walks along the harbor in Atlantic Highlands breathing in the sea air and admiring the boats while reminiscing about his childhood. Being on a boat fishing was his happy place.
Barnegat - Eduardo P. Vidal, M.D. 82, of Barnegat formerly of Millstone, NJ died at Southern Ocean Medical Center on April 16, 2020 after a brave fight against the coronavirus.
