Spitz testified Ramsay Scrivo died from ligature strangulation with a lethal amount of Xanax in his system as a contributing factor. He said Ramsay Scrivo could have been “comatose” while being strangled. Xanax is an anti-anxiety drug.

“This (400 nanograms per milliliter) is four times what you would see in someone who is normally taking the drug,” Spitz testified. “This is an elevated level that in my opinion would have significant effect on the individual. You’re going to be lethargic, you’re going to be drowsy, you’re going to be confused, you’re going to be uncoordinated until you pass out, and in some people would cause death.”

I will forever be amazed and horrified by what some human beings are capable of. How a person can do something like this to another human being (and her son no less) is beyond my understanding.

Neighbor testifies to hearing suspicious (electrical) sawing sounds and an unusual odor in the week after Ramsey's death, assumed it was the son who was always doing renovations.

Trial will continue tomorrow, Thursday.

Aunt has many conversations with Ramsay, never had any indication that he was suicidal. "He was doing really well."

defense on cross now.........met donna when she was 9, jay was a baby (jay is the older brother)

asked if donna was a good mother......yes but controlling....wanted jay to play football, he didn't want to play, made a huge deal of it.......

this witness is donna's sister-in-law, sister to the father of ramsey.....not sure of her name, some confusion in court chatter's tweets........

she's an attorney btw.........ramsey had a charge in college, they called her to help, she's talking about the episode when she went to help and they were all in court at the time.......it had to do with alchohol and got a ticket.........donna lost it.....
