raisincharlie said:Thanks again Ocean. At some point I think there is the possibility that JY may have to sell this or at least rent it. I see nothing suspicious about that by the way. I am curious if the insurance on the note itself would actually pay out the loan due to the death of one of the owners as a result of a homicide. I'm not sure it would under the circumstances until the spouse is cleared of any and all wrong doing. Nothing relevant in this line of thought but I certainly appreciate your thoughts on this subject.![]()
Yes, that would be very interesting to know. They do have these homeowner policies if J&M had selected it to be paid off in case of one of their deaths. I think the insurance company will hedge in doing so at this time due to the circumstances and because JY has not been eliminated as a suspect.
But I do remember in the Michael Peterson case...wasnt their home paid off when Kathleen was killed or was it the 750K life insurance he was beneficiary on that he collected and spent on attorney fees? Lol too many cases not enough brain space.

I dont think he will have a problem selling it though. Raleigh has many people coming in from other areas and may not be bothered by the murder. It does seem to be a very nice subdivision and location.
IMO
