It was a supposition of the moments when Rc was not on....we were watching live KOOL. I disagree about RC...didn't see that at all...and he did appear angry when she pushed him in the first segment until all he could say was a Mistylike "I don't know Miss Nancy".

I realize that which is exactly why I made my post because those coming in afterwards and days to come reading would be easily mis-led into thinking that he got up and left in the middle of the show as it was stated so at 8:28 p.m. I wanted to clear that up for posters who won't be suppo'ing.

The ME Just said that she'd be skeletonized if she was left in the elements and when they showed him again, he looked like he had been crying or trying not to cry. I can't even begin to fathom how to explain how I feel about it - like, perhaps he does realize something is wrong with Misty's story but just believes that SHE doesn't have anything to do with it. I don't know. I'm at a loss.

ITA . But you have to understand that in a whole lot of peoples eyes Ron is already tried and convicted . Everything, from what he is wearing to what kind of haircut he has is being thrown out . I watched and listened and I still feel in my heart that Ron has NOTHING to do with what happened to Haleigh . I saw genuine pain and I also heard him say no matter WHO IT WAS they needed to fry .That meant ANYBODY . He wants to believe his wife, I feel like he has to because thats the only shred of hope that he has left . I wish people would stop being so judgemental about the things that don't matter. He was nicely dressed and its stated that someone must have loaned him the shirt and tie. Come on people..please . I stopped posting for a long time because of this carp and I will NOT stop again because of it . Until Haleigh is found, I will keep any and all possibilities open . If not, then whats the point?

My impression was Ng was mad at the end of the Ron interview, when she cut him off so quickly.

Ron wants someone to come forward with information on what happened to Haleigh and says that he doesn't care who it hurts. Then when professional people conduct a polygraph, a layered voice analysis and hypnosis attempt, and share the results that Misty has lied and that she knows what happened to his little girl, he decides to ignore them. He is once again talking out of both sides of his mouth. I guess as long as the information brought forward doesn't involve he or Misty he is cool with it, right?:waitasec:

We all ignore white lies and deception at times, to keep the peace but given the gravity of this and, the tests just confirm what Misty confirms herself. Given how close RC is, surely he can tell when she is honest or squirming -- the old hinky meter. RC is in denial.

How is Ron ignoring them? He said he doesn't know anything about the polygraph, the polygrapher and the statistics, numbers in order to comment. Something to that effect. I'll go back and re-fresh my memory as to what he exactly said.

One thing I did notice, after he heard what the polygrapher said, commercial break, then having time to think about it in that short period of time, his next statement to Nancy was "Let them fry no matter who it hurts". That tells me a lot of what was on his mind, and that doesn't sound like ignore ignore to me.

I sort of felt he looked a few minutes into the show growing more and more like a "doe in the headlights" taking all this information in and processing it. His eyes were wide open staring and that statement came out of him.

Ok, I just re-watched nancy's show with Ron. He didn't ignore or show contempt concerning the question about M and the lie test. He says, "he didn't know anything about them, he spoke with the polygrapher and he was told that it's not in percentages, but either you fail or pass, that's all he knows". He also states in replying to this same question, "that he has not seen any evidence in any way proving she failed, and that he wasn't to talk about LE's investigation".

So in all fairness to Ron, if I had not seen anything but hearsay, as he also stated, "he was aware of what's being said, but he hasn't seen anything (evidence) showing she failed and lied". So for us to expect him to condemn his wife without proof is the guidelines I would rightfully judge my own husband in the same situation, as I know I would lean towards his innocence until someone showed me some evidence otherwise.

Adding though, I believe Ron is seeing the light reluctanly, but none the less seeing.

The little we have to go on makes this a very tough case....insight is limited to our perceptions of people's behaviors...IMHO--Ive tried to "gauge" the players from CS to TN to MC and everyone in between by their actions...Given that Ron had a national audience tonight and could have really cleared things up--explained the now-three versions of the sleeping arrangements--said I have been cooperating with LE and encouraging my wife to do the same etc if true...etc..instead he muddied the waters with his deflections about Misty's inconsistencies....he had a real chance tonight...and I WAS PULLING FOR HIM--I just didn't see him rise to the occasion....JMO

Well, you sure as heck don't "act" like you haven't talked to the LAST person to see Haleigh alive and just trust every word that comes out of her lying mouth about misplacing your "heart".
You don't need a book for that, IMO.

With respect, but if it were my child--I never would have closed my mouth in the first place. A 5-year-old's existence is worth a lot more than any mud that is slung. JMO

I have a request of everyone, if anyone is willing. Put your "feelings" aside and look at this thing as sleuthers. When NG re-airs in an hour or when Patty comes back with the videos, PLEASE watch it all with fresh eyes.

Try to look at Ron like sleuthers, like CHILD advocates...No right or wrong, no preconceived notions...Just LOOK at it like it's a brand new case. I ask of everyone to LISTEN to Ron's statements about Misty polygraph failures...I ask you to LISTEN to his "excuses" for not getting the straight story from her.

Please open your eyes and your mind and LISTEN..for Haleigh's sake...Pretend it was just another case that you were seeing for the first time....You'll be surprised at what you see....if you just really listen.

I already did that, the first time it aired. I'm ALWAYS objective.
What exactly are you thinking we should be noticing?
What I saw was barely controlled anger and frustration. And I think his lawyer had already instructed him on what he could say. I don't know why anyone would expect him to get up on national t.v. and say that yes, he knows his wife is lying through her teeth. If he was involved, of course he isn't going to admit it.
Btw... he did start out by trying to get the focus on Haleigh... Nancy just wanted to know what he thought of Misty's LDT results. Same with his lawyer... but she wasn't buying it.
I was proud of Nancy tonight, but even though her intentions were good, I don't think she got any answers.

There is not one shred of doubt now, after hearing him tonight, with all the excuses for Misty's lies....that he is involved just as much, if not MORE than she is....

Yes, sometimes it is very human not to press too hard for answers, seek the truth or, question those inconsistencies when in your gut you know that it is going to hurt real bad.

Better to keep hope alive and refocus back on the search and the dream one day that Haleigh will return home safe and alive --- rather than to face the harsh reality that MC hides from you to protect you.

No--but in the taped excerpts we saw two versions of the sleeping arrangements...all in one bed and then Jr and Misty in the big bed and Haleigh on the toddler bed....but NO NG didn't ask..

Did anyose else notice when they were reviewing her results from one of the test s she took with TM that when asked if she loved Haleigh she said "yes" and NO deception was indicated?
Misty is a lil' girl. She is covering for someone else. I don't know who. I know what I see and I have my ideas.
I don't mean to offend anyone with my observations.
I am not defending Misty. I just found that interesting.

No, she did not ask, in fact she played clips from both his statements and Misty's that showed directly their conflicting stories. One was when RC said that all three were sleeping IN HIS BED. Another was when Misty said she got up to go to the bathroom and THEN saw the light on. NG did not question the conflicts on either of these with the more recent versions of their stories. (ok...I admit I could have missed some stuff....ABC is running the CMA concert and it is really good!)
