I always peel off all the address labels before recycling the boxes and envelopes they come in. It's kind of paranoid I guess, but I don't want my name floating around out there.

ETA: Of course, that's after they arrive and I don't have an important name and no one of any import is sending me anything.
I do the same…remove all labels from shipping boxes/envelopes and then I shred the labels.

Zoom in there are two army helicopters Picacho State Park (one just to the east and one south near Avra) as well as a private helicopter.
I wonder if she was left in that Park?

It's been difficult to sleep throughout this case for me. Nancy reminds me of my mom who passed away in 2024. The doorbell footage really is eerie and makes me feel even more hurt for the G family
Yes, the vulnerability aspect of the elderly is probably why I've been so drawn to this case. Also, it's happening in Arizona - where I currently live. I just keep thinking about how fortunate a person is to make it to age 84 and then this...

I'm not a Today Show watcher so the celebrity aspect isn't that meaningful to me. It's definitely the empathy factor and thinking of the years my mom lived on her own.

I hope this is ok to post...but I'm thinking about all the men and women working tonight especially to find Nancy and get justice for her. Praying for safety and protection for them tonight and for Nancy's family to get answers. Today's updates have really had an effect on those of us on ws and I literally can't imagine how her family feels.
My opinion as always

Ok. Thx. I’m still catching up. I didn’t even realize the detained POI was related to the people in the house.

That’s pretty relevant 🤦🏻‍♀️

So so behind 😫
I have to apologize but my mind keeps changing PoI to 🤬🤬🤬🤦🏻‍♀️

Thank you. I’ve been thinking this but needed someone sharper who understands to put it in words. A crime like this takes sophistication at some point or by one of the players. IMHO.
Yes. A true crypto “expert” would not have a BTC ransom sent to an address where it sits for more than milliseconds. News reports indicated a small deposit was made into the wallet and had not been moved. That’s a rookie move. Tells me this person doesn’t understand that art and speed of remixing crypto. A true expert would have already written a program to instantly move any deposit made into wallet A into a crypto remixer (such as Monero) where decoy transactions are used to confuse the trail. Or… so I’m told 😉

Flight 24 now shows going all the way to the border at Nogales, then going nw of Highway 19. Headed back to Tucson.
Yup! Thats where we thought she’d be! 35+ year LEO here. Praying for Nancy🙏

Also, the MIL said the van broke down this past Friday. As in 5 days ago. So the SIL was, at minimum, keeping up appearances that he was delivering packages for the entire first work week she was missing. Wouldn’t make any sense if she was in the van.
His van “broke down” last Friday? I wonder when the suspicious white van in Nancy’s neighborhood was reported in the news. Ie. If someone’s vehicle is reported as being suspicious, it might make a person not want to drive it. Speculation only.

It's made me think of my grandmother who passed away in 2022. She was in an LTC and in her 90s...so on the one hand, very different. But the fundamental vulnerability of Nancy and the fact there's nothing we've learned that points to anything other than the desire to abduct her (and, at a minimum, potentially let her die) has been very jarring to me.

that's all Greek to me

Anyone wonder if this was a ransom situation, but it didn’t go as planned? Maybe she passed away due to injuries or heart attack after leaving the home with the perp/perps. If this happened, it would be hard to utilize her as they intended. They may need to just cover up their tracks and dispose of the body.

I think the ransom notes are bogus and not legitimate. You don’t wait 3 days, with an 84 year old woman to care for, to request a ransom amount. Something doesn’t add up…

I was thinking, deceased, not alive. I don’t know how far away the van is parked. She just gesture over to the right. Could be out in the middle of a field or something for all we know.
The smell of that would be more than enough for someone to notice.

But he’d been driving the van for the first week, immediately after she disappeared. That doesn’t make any sense to me. His van is also not white, according to the BE interview.

If you’re confused, you’re not the culprit. That gives a sense for the kind of person or persons skilled enough to pull off a crypto ransom. And that says nothing of the skill to kidnap someone. Those are two very different skill sets that rarely occur in one person.

LOL, I couldn’t be the culprit if I tried.

I understood maybe every other word of this? Way out of my realm!

What I do believe is possible here is the classic Brain and Brawn.

Mr. Bitcoin is in control of all the crypto things that I’ve no knowledge of, while Mr. Gig Jobs is hired to smash his way into Nancy’s home and abduct her.

Two skill sets certainly, but apportioned one to each. Suitable to each one’s talents, as it were.

Gosh I've missed a lot. Do we know who this was that was detained? I'm seeing that she still hasn't been located yet. :(

My theory only, the origin of this is south of our border. It’s a demonstration of wingspan. How far they can reach and touch. The detainee is likely a low-level guy.
💯

I honestly was shocked she revealed as much as she did to a reporter. It could compromise the case!
With that being said, the van part totally stuck out to me. What if it’s not broken down, but still needs to be adequately cleaned out or he doesn’t want it seen on the road?

I remember a girl who died in her parked car in San Antonio in the summer. She died in a Saltgrass Steakhouse parking lot. She was also close to an REI store. It was in a strip mall. No one noticed the odor. She was dead in her car for almost three weeks. Cause of death: Hyperthermia secondary to alcohol toxicity.
