I'm not sure exactly what we are to expect at that moment? I'm honestly asking. IMO
You will hear a dud firecracker softly go poof☁️
Then searchers will get back to work, try to find NG’s body.
Continue search for killer.

In other words, we might update you sometime...or not.
Thanks, Sheriff. Sorry to bother you. We wouldn't want you to miss any basketball games.
Moo....what is the issue with him going to a basketball game.? Separating work from personal life is a good thing...moo

I read it was of consent, so no warrant needed
Consent doesn't necessarily mean they didn't get a warrant. It means the residents didn't demand a warrant.
I hope LE get a warrant for every single search, tbh. It could be a problem at trial if they don't.

Excellent post!
This sheriff's office appears woefully deficient in investigative talent.
Poor Nancy.
And where's the FBI??
It's looking more and more like a cold case that we might still be commenting on ten years from now.

I respectfully disagree as of now. LE folks (any of the agencies) do not owe public play by play in an investigation. I’m sure it feels like eons to public, but they have a lot to go through. In reality, a week and a half is not a long time in a criminal investigation. I do not believe this will become a cold case. Having every media outlet and you tuber try to get social media attention is making it seem like more information should be out by now. LE owes it to the public if they feel like the public is more unsafe than they already were because of lack of an arrest yet. Otherwise, I actually wish media would leave this case alone for a bit to give LE a chance to do what they need to do to nab the right person/people. Moo

Just wondering if most families only have one car, and if not, where is the other one, and have LE looked at it? Just my opinion.

Anything is possible, but the LE concentration on them is typical of not being able to rule them out. That suggests digital footprints and alibi aren't readily available for either of them.

Couple that with some of the financial entanglements they have with NG and it begins to look like motive.
Are there documented financial entanglements family has with NG that would be a motive, that are known to us?

Residences, plural. Is this an indication to family being involved after all..? Just wondering 🤔
I personally think it's more about their own incompetence.

Do it right the first time and for goodness sakes, if you can't, don't release the scene!

Presumably it was just a dumb camera (Nest) with no ability to record on the actual device. We also know from the doorbell situation that NG did not have a Nest subscription that is required to record the video to the cloud. Essentially meaning those cameras would have only been functioning as live feed cameras, if they were functioning at all.
She had Ring doorbell cam with confirmed no subscription per the Sheriff's press conference (so no cloud recording, no replay, just live view and live push notifications).

She also had Nest cams around but we don't even know if they were charged and do not know the specific sub info on that,.

We're talking about an 84 year old who I believe someone said used them mainly for wildlife viewing and wasn't really on top of it or concerned with actual security.
