This is utterly bizarre. Pretty much every component of this case to date. Just bonkers.

She may not speak English as her first language. It is easy for a bi-lingual individual to become confused when confronted by rapid-fire questioning when under stress. She changed her story significantly. The first video (posted up thread) she says she told them to search her house because they have nothing to hide. This latest video she flips the script and says they entered without a warrant, she told them they can't do it without a warrant but they insisted they don't need a warrant. Sketchy behavior IMO. She may just be changing her story to try to sue LE later or something stupid like that. Hard to say at this point but she was definitely caught in a big lie there.
I think we would all love to know the reason he was on their radar to begin with! What prompted this traffic stop?
Didn’t ask him a single question?!? What the…Cliff's from Carlos interview -
They detained him but didn't ask him a single question.
They searched/processed his car and his home.
They damaged some things (front door/garage door mentioned).
He was forthcoming until someone in the home interjected and pulled him inside just after a question from a reporter in Spanish.

Definitely would like to know this, but I doubt they’ll tell us that. I wonder if it could have anything to do with his job and if he made deliveries in the area of her home OR if possibly his car matches one they picked up on a camera somewhere around the time of her abduction.I think we would all love to know the reason he was on their radar to begin with! Very. What a very scary experience for Carlos and his family. Wow.

Maybe there were some french fries missing from a recent door dash order.Poor guy just got blamed for the biggest public crime in the entire United States of America for nothing. I'm done until whoever did this (I think it was obvious from the start) is arrested and charged and/or NG is found. Ty for your attention regarding this matter.

I have thought this all along. However, when they released the footage, that got me real conflicted. The way he just slowly saunters about, the attempt to cover the camera with plants, the fact he had a tattoo that peeked out of his glove - very odd and not in keeping with a professional I don’t think. Now that this has been settled, at least on here (for now), I'm going back to my original assessment that this was done by a professional criminal. I'm conflicted, however, on whether he is local, and whether he planned and initiated it on his own or is a proxy for someone else.
