Regular lurker, rare poster, but there are numerous issues with this case that have frustrated me enough to ask or post something. I’m gonna stick to the pics and video of the masked man on NG’s Nest because it blew my mind in ways I wouldn’t think I would ordinarily do.
First off, and I don’t intend to make light but my own reaction was out of character, my initial response was “lazy millennial”! No sense of purpose! The way he mopes around, slow moving to the point I want to dub over “duh, which way did he go?” like in a Bugs Bunny cartoon. The Lantana on the camera? Regardless of his motivation for grabbing them it is definitely a lack of preparedness. Whether that’s for concealment, to provide some grip to get purchase on it to yank or turn, or as some kind of gesture to get in, hide, or send some message to one or all family members. I wouldn’t carry my gun that doesn’t fit the holster there. I certainly would remove reflective gear from my clothing. I would be moving much more quickly and assertively. However, my subsequent viewing left me seeing a person more my own age (50’s) maybe a little stiff, and sure enough they weren’t getting caught to not move any faster than he needed to. I was aggravated either way because what I’m seeing in his activity is not as proficient as I would have liked them to be to cause this much difficulty in their capture.
I’m focusing on this because this is one of the very few pieces of evidence/actual fact that has been provided to us. But I’m still left pondering what I watched. So…
Are any of these images or videos time stamped or has law enforcement verified when these were recorded? Are with and without backpack shots from close time proximity to one another? Why do I find this important? His behavior takes on a different interpretation if this person was responsible for removal, a driver, or simply a lookout. When the clip starts the person is offscreen towards our left side of the doorway with their shadow visible. Where is that in location to say the garage, the main drive? Did this person just arrive because it’s time to take her out? This person annoys me less if his behavior fits his role.
None of the above is fact, just me thinking out loud. I appreciate reading other people’s posts because their thoughts help spur on my own, and hopefully this will do the same for someone else.
Praying for a (more) swift resolution.
