I don't know, but it's interesting they hired their own given that most of law enforcement in country is already working on this. i don't understand any of this.
If you have the means, most would do everything that they could to find a loved one. MOO

Then why does it say Tucson Walmart? I can't see the article
"The Daily Mail found this 25 liter Ozark backpack in a Walmart just miles from Nancy Guthrie's home"

That's what it said under a photo in that DM article.

I have a love hate feeling with the media yall...sometimes I feel like the urgency of finding Nancy gets lost in the sensationalizing of the story. But at the same time the media coverage is how we know what is going on with this case.
Just my opinion and no links because it's just my observations and thoughts overall

Even if cash, there may be an image of a face! MOO

Edited to remove a comment.
If he bought the things a month ago with cash, would Walmart still have the footage?

This may have been shared already, tent going up outside her front door/porch area.

But why the white tent though? I’ve usually only seen this in cases where they are trying to hide remains or protect from the elements (which doesn’t seem to be an issue today).

Maybe a recreation of the video to attempt to get height or other things they may have missed?

Someone here mentioned that going to a bar could be an alibi. Someone misread this and the bar keeps coming up. A rumor that keeps getting repeated. Imo
THERE IS NO BAR!!!

I think that would depend on what and where they found evidence and who the evidence matched with. Could be saliva or skin cells found on the inside of the screen/security door. They should collect everything they find and if they think they can use it later on, let the DA decide the inclusory value to a prosecution.
moo
I didn’t say they shouldn’t collect it, simply that the argument is there for basically everything to be contaminated

It is available at 7 of the 8 Walmarts near me (within 8 miles). I'm not in Tucson, but this doesn't seem like a rarity.

You can literally see his bald head there is no mask. Both the video by TMZ and the ring footage showing another guy checking for unlocked cars are unmasked and not wearing gloves. Just opportunistic burglar imo. The guy on NG front porch was masked and probably double gloved meaning what crime he was about to commit was a lot more sinister and had some degree of preplanning

JMO
Did you watch the unblurred version? He looks just like this

I feel like anything they have on that porch cannot be used at this point for how open they’ve left it so hopefully it leads them to something useable
It may lead to Nancy, but any trial will be frought.

Love to see this. Dislike how every (or almost every) movement of LE is visible to the public. While we can infer what they are doing here, we don’t need to see it.

It's just that Walmart carries them.

I agree but it doesn’t mean he did not get them at Walmart. I would even say it’s pretty likely he did.
Walmart keeps very good sales records that have time of purchase so they can synch with security cameras.
It’s not a given but I sure hope he did go to Walmart.

Edit: typo

Not sure about the blue shirt.

The video is around the same time as NG's kidnapping, but it was 5 miles south. Impossible to go 5 miles in 5 minutes.
Gang activity? Like a group goes out and splits up to perform their activities for the evening.

Just speculating as I am thinking of initiation crimes gangs may require. But, then again, it doesn’t seem random overall.

In this recently released video, that robber seemed smart enough (!!) to bring TWO backpacks. Meaning he was actually planning to do a robbery and have room to stash his loot. Like us, going on vacation, and bringing an extra travel bag to bring home all our shopping! The Nancy suspect appears to have come with a fully loaded abduction kit backpack that didn't have room for any stolen goods. (Assuming that video capture was before he ever entered the home, which it appears to be.)

Typical click bait. Wonder how many people are subscribing to the pay wall
You can still read the comments on the paywalled articles which often give a clue to any pertinent parts. I don't subscribe. FWIW

Suspect's distinctive backpack, gloves and holster traced to Tucson Walmart

View attachment 644213

No direct sources on why they think these items are the brand listed, but grabbed larger images for anyone that wants them.

They think the jacket is 2XU brand, the gun holster Uncle Mike's, the nitrite gloves Hyper Tough, and the backpack Ozark Trail. I know there's been some chatter about Ozark Trail. All four of the items I just listed appear to be sold at Walmart. They think the ski mask is Rothco, which they've found online.

Old and live alone now, still don’t
I always had a big watch dog.

Walmart seems to be the criminal magnet for supplies, LOL.
It seems to be the place where dumb criminals shop. Thank goodness for that! ETA: No offense to Walmart. I love Walmart!
