The search for 21-year-old Kortne Stouffer continued over the weekend.

Law enforcement officials said they continued to work around the clock investigating her disappearance, even as little progress is reported.

Stouffer has been missing since July 29, when she was last seen at about 3:45 a.m. at her apartment on West Main Street in Palmyra. She had been out with friends in Harrisburg on the night of July 28.

Language on the cover sheet of a two-week-old sealed search warrant indicated police were investigating her disappearance as either a kidnapping or an instance in which she was being held against her will.

However, Lebanon County District Attorney David Arnold said today police were investigating a “suspicious disappearance,” not necessarily an instance of kidnapping or unlawful restraint.

Stouffer's family is holding a press conference this afternoon to update the public on her disappearance.

I hope it is a local affiliate and not HLN/Jane Velez Mitchell, etc...they don't have a huge audience and I don't think they are taken very seriously, IMO

plus we usually know more and are more accurate in the info we have sleuthed for than the darn "news" programs HLN puts on.
I find more errors w/NG than JVM, but at least someone out there is at least shedding light on these people vanishing!

I am glad there is a reward that is growing, but i can't help wondering what else being done? How about more transparency? I would think by now all parties have been vetted by LE. Either there is nothing or LE has identified one or two POIs.

Kortnes mom via FB stated that as quick as flyers were being put up, they were being taken down in the Lebanon, Grantville and Jonestown area. She was asking for help in putting more back up.

On one of the articles, i think from the Leb. Daily News, there is a reader comment about "the other guy who lives in that building" (loosely quoted). I believe she's in Jonestown.

I'm repeating myself - I can't get past why no searches. Why aren't people looking for Kortne? It was a lovely weekend, a lot of ground could have been covered, I'd think.

Why hasn't LE cleared the apartment? There's still crime scene tape weeks later. Have they not yet gathered everything they need?

If her father says her car wasn't impounded - where is it? Who's looking at it?

Has any information become available on the people she was out dancing with? Any employees of ASK or one of the quarries?

I'm going to check out HersheyPark Drive where the Sheetz, McDonalds, Wendy's, Pizza Hut, Applebee's are. That's Hummelstown, not Hershey, and it's very heavily trafficked. There should be fliers there, IMO.
