I know which one it was. Ha!

I just re-read my comment posted on that article and I wouldn't be shocked if you did know which one it was, there's a big hint in that post which pretty much gives away that I wrote it. But then again, Snoop, nothing seems to get past you!

The hint didn't hurt!

What continues to frustrate me when I review the facts in this case:

- relatively small community
- multiple interactions with LE on the night of disappearance.
- tight circle of likely suspects
- conceivable motives for at least two suspects
- one suspect spent the night with the victim and was last to see her

I mean seriously! Cases are solved and charges are brought with far less to work with than we have here.

The quote by LE saying they have eliminated some possibilities but still really don't know what happened is frightening to me. It indicates incompetence at best and corruption or direct involvement at worst. The longer this goes on, I am betting more and more on the latter.

Wouldn't you like to know what possibilities they eliminated? But they aren't saying.

I seriously doubt that LE knocked on both doors that night, but in my mind, it's forgivable, but it won't be to others.

Not taking the missing persons report seriously enough at first to check the local video cameras for vehicles in movement that evening was the biggest blunder.

And as for your last statement, I've already said, it always takes me back to the same place.

I think it just sounded good to say something when they really weren't saying anything much!

I think it was quiet and so no knocking occurred. They were just probably thrilled everything seemed to have died down and there was no more fighting.

Wonder if LE has interviewed this AB and pursued it vigorously? If they pursue anything vigorously.

And about that last officer..why name the first one but not the second officer? Could be as innocent as the officer never knocked and that opens up lots of doors for criticism or it could mean something more... MO, MO

Explain SnoopJohnB! Andrew Lengle? He took someone hostage...

Yeah, he did. By most accounts, this is officer Timothy Lengle's son. And his crimes were only a couple of blocks away. No connection to this story, I'm sure. But just goes to show you....

On a completely random note I was snooping MR's friend list and must have accidentally sent him a friend request on my IPAD. Not meaning to of course! He immediately accepted. Some sleuth I am... I deleted him. But I honestly see no nervousness from him or CP. They are so wrapped up in their partying ways and seem to be unconcerned about searches, interviews or LE for that matter.

Missed that last name. Noticed it was a couple of blocks away. Interesting!

Another random thought. A local cop from my surrounding area was a POI in his ex girlfriend's disappearance. This was years ago and most people think he was responsible including her family. No body was ever found and the story died down and locals believe he got away with it. He has since moved from the area. Just a random thought to share. You never know!

Budding criminal might be a little harsh. Lengle was charged with four counts of propulsion of missiles into occupied vehicles, making terroristic threats and false imprisonment, 18 counts of recklessly endangering other people, two of simple assault and theft, five of criminal mischief and harassment and five counts of discharging a firearm in the borough without authorization.

They only found 10 firearms and a large amount of ammunition, in his apartment.

That's playstuff for your average gangsta today.

BBM I don't think all the recent shooting victims would think so...

I tried to find trial/sentencing information but I'm not a profesional "snooper". LOL

Has he gone to trial yet? Is he in jail or out on bail?...

TIA

His name has come up in earlier discussion of this case.

Did someone indicate that the neighbor had been arrested again? I thought I read that hear and can't find it now. If so, do we know what for and what facts underlie that new charge?
