BBMI wonder if any true crime writers have contacted him.
I'm sure probergers are sending in love letters. UGH.
I wonder, is AT actually TRYING to act the fool so that he can later appeal on "inadequate defense" grounds?
MOO MOO MOO
yes she parked next to him not he parked next to.her. She said " I saw BK. I parked right next to him."Possible but, at least the way GH depicts it, BK was parked. Then she parked. It was after his third loop, and IMO, if not for the DD driver presence at that very moment, he was preparing to enter the house. But then she parked and he drove away. He should have kept driving. Went home. Hard stop.
But he looped back quickly, was probably trying to see where the driver was going, he would have no way to know it was a DD delivery, so checking to see if the driver went into any of those homes, but also simultaneously trying not to be seen again by her.
IMO, she delivered the food in that minute or so of time when BK was driving quickly away and before his turning around and coming back. And then she drove away.
Cctv and LE's extensive plotting of the Elantra's route make extra sense now, in light of this new information.
IMO on BK's first two passes, somethings must have "encouraged" him not to stop. Lights being on, could be one thing. So his third approach, he parks, he's ready. And then an unsuspecting DD driver pulls in right next to him.
He doesn't even give up, he just drives away, watches to see where the DD driver goes (she leaves), and approaches again, the 4th time.
Does anyone know, from my last paragraph, something just hit me -- DD driver apparently said he was on the street, which I have taken to mean street parking vs parking lot. But in the street anywhere there, are there diagnonal spot, where in he could LITERALLY, be parked BESIDE her?
This witness is gold. IMO she can place BK at 1122 King at 3:58 am. And SHE might have seen him without his mask.

I think she didn't want to get out of her car with a male sitting alone in his car next to her. When he left she breathed a sigh of relief and delivered her order quickly and left. BK circled around and noticed the car was gone and parked for the last time.yes she parked next to him not he parked next to.her. He was there first. She said " I saw BK. I parked right next to him."
And that chain of events caused BK to reverse his route which led to the unplated front of his car being captured on camera.I think she didn't want to get out of her car with a male sitting alone in his car next to her. When he left she breathed a sigh of relief and delivered her order quickly and left. BK circled around and noticed the car was gone and parked for the last time.
Maybe I'm reading too much into this, but I think this poor woman looked right into his eyes and he probably creeped her out even then. Why do I say this?yes she parked next to him not he parked next to.her. She said " I saw BK. I parked right next to him."
It sure sounds like itSo???? The trial is on for August???

I doubt the DD driver actually saw BK "in the flesh" and I don't think she literally means that she did when she says she "saw" him in that DUI interview.
If she was an eyewitness who had seen BK that night eg. in his car; exiting his car etc I think this would have been reported well before now and would likely have appeared in Court documents, including the PCA.
What seems more likely to me is that she saw BK's white Elantra park/parked near where she delivered the meal for XK. The white Elantra would have meant absolutely nothing to her on that night but later took on huge significance once she learned what had happened and was contacted by LE to tell them what she saw or heard while she was at/en route to/from the address.
Her "shorthand" expression that she "saw" BK more than likely means she saw BK's car that night parked near the address and later came to discover it was BK's car.
Imagine if she had only had a dash cam recording when she made that delivery...
Witness lists are still sealed. When seating for family members was being discussed a while back, and whether defendant's family could be present for the entire trial, the state said that they intend to call a couple members of the Kohberger family, but did not say which ones, and that is the closest thing to naming any witnesses that I have heard about in this case. JMOI have been in situations where I was out in the middle of the night, alone, either on foot or in a car. When I was 20, I wasn't so vigilant, but by the time I was 25, I had taken self-defense courses for women, started reading crime news, gotten interested in a career in a legal field, and in general became and remained very vigilant while out at night.
I still am, although it's been more than a decade since I've been out in the night, alone. I am aware that older people, especially women, are sometimes thought to be easy targets for carjackings. I haven't walked past 2 am for probably 20 years.
I should add that I have been in my own front yard area past 2 am, for good reasons, but feel our cameras are an aid that makes me feel a bit safer. I still take note of the random cars that drive past (few and far between - and caught on camera).
IOW, I find it completely plausible that the DD driver would glance at or even inspect every face or silhouette she could discern while being out at that hour. A relative of mine is currently working as a DD driver and she does late night orders as that's when she can work while someone else stays with the children. She's street savvy, has a dashcam and self defense training as well as mace and other self-defense items in her car. We still worry about her. She won't discuss the situation, though.
How would we know, given the sealed court documents, when she was interviewed and what she said? By now, surely she's been deposed by both sides, but we wouldn't know that (or what any other witness has said). I thought the court documents were still sealed (including the witness lists?)
Someone please correct me about this latter statement, if I'm wrong. If they've unsealed the witness list, I missed it, as I've been taking a break from crime stories for a bit.
TIA.
As clearly as Judge Hippler could tell the attorneys that the trial is going to begin as scheduled, without actually telling them that the trial is going to begin as scheduled, he told them that the trial is going to begin as scheduled. HIs written opinion will be forthcoming' JMOSo???? The trial is on for August???

I agree with both thoughts. I do expect one of the sisters to be called, and I will be shocked if the DD driver is not called, as I really believe she is the only person other than DM to have likely seen BK at or very near the house that morning. JMOThank you so much, Steve. I wonder if one of the Kohberger witnesses is a sister. I'm sure you have been wondering same. I really appreciate all of your posts.
It would certainly appear as if the DD driver will be called.
