It's even worse that that. A jury reaching a guilty verdict is not a given in this case.The families fail to understand the death penalty may not have been voted on by the jury- they seem to think it was a given- it was not
We've all seen some horrible miscarriages of justice in jury trials, IMO.
OJ Simpson, Casey Anthony and other more recent decisions come to mind.
The families should consider how they'd feel hearing a "Not Guilty" verdict read in court.
