Hi APT. I feel the same way. They (Law) need to go for broke and stop all this nonsense. The time has come. JUST SAY NO!!~ we are all fed up. I would bet the real reason they're refusing to testify is because JA told them to, not because they're afraid of anything. And an 11th hour witness about TA's pedophilia? I'm sure Juan will have plenty for him to be afraid of.

I wish JSS would look Nurmi dead in the eye and say "I have one word for you - 'Subpoena'. And as far as the defendant goes, this is still the same 'trial' and she's waived her right to silence."

Well, I know why the defense doesn't want that friend who knew Travis testifying in the open: because it's a complete crock, they are putting him on at Jodi's direction, and he will be completely dismantled on cross, leaving the defense even more embarrassed than it already is.

I hope Juan can tell the judge about the interview Darryl Brewer gave in full view of the world just after "refusing" to testify in the last mitigation phase due to threats. He's already out there, his face and identity are known. And he's still alive. So what will testifying in secret change now?

If it is the fiend Marc McGee he is posting on social media. If he can do that he should be able to testify in open court.

No. We were speaking of D.Brewer at the time. This subject doesn't deserve another time consuming hearing, that is what happens. More trial time wasted on what will be a no anyway..They are just playing for time..a couple more days away from Perryville. I have no doubt Juan would make mush of him. P.S. To support JA's story that her whole relationship with TA went downhill that fateful day when she spotted his computer screen or piece of paper with a naked kid on it when she popped by unexpectedly on a day that she never even went to his house.

I did say almost, but on a more serious note, I can't help but feel that a DP conviction in the current political climate is a less secure sentence than LWOP.
