I know this is a couple hours out from MB, but have not heard anything else about this "possible homicide of a white female, possibly in her 20's".

Have to wonder what family will get this devastating news. So sad and so often.

Any recent young females around 20 missing from around there? Thats just terrible! Bless this woman and her family and friends

They found a "brand new van burned in the woods near Edisto, about 20 minutes away, but wouldn't say if it was related to the victim"

How can this keep happening? I sure hope someone is arrested and maybe they can tie at least some of these homicides together if they can get some forensic evidence and find Brittanee and the perps who took her in the process.

I don't think this is Britt either, but it could be the same perp. It DOES seem like these people go through vans like they're nothing.

(I know what I said was useless but just looking for a way other than just "bump" to get our Britt back up the page).

This news is really disturbing to me, Strawberry. Could this be a serial killer targeting white women in these areas? Has the E. coast rapist moved south? Gosh I don't know what to think. I just wish for Britt to be found.

Another question. Is there anyone good with maps who could pinpoint all the locations where bodies were found, & the t. property, etc.? I am not good at that and just thought I'd ask because I'd be interested in seeing the proximity of locations.

All of you WS ladies who live in these areas, please be careful and aware of your surroundings.

Yes WM, I am really starting to wonder about some kind of perp(s) targeting these young white women. It would be good if anyone knows how to do a map showing the locations of at least some of these and compare to where Brittanee's cell phone pinged, and the burned car and van were found, and the T-clan property as well. I wish I was knowledgeable in this area but afraid I could not figure it out. First I guess we need to compile a list of the victims that we would like to see charted out on a map.

This is an extremely interesting topic. I personally feel it is like the survieillances done at airports for the safety of law-abiding citizens to board an airplane and arrive safely at their destinations. Most "law-abiding citizens" do not object to occasional delays or even being searched if it means the TSA is doing their job to keep everyone safe. For this man to actually take the camera home blows my mind. If he did not like being "on camera" he could have camped elsewhere. Now any people who were doing or planning to do something "illegal" in that area have been forewarned. Two ways to look at that: 1) they may just do it elsewhere (whatever it is they had been doing or planned to do) or 2) it may keep someone from being harmed by these people all together (if that was the possible illegal activity occurring). What I mean is these "people" who are breaking the law in some manner may get scared and quit all together although I highly doubt a couple of cameras would prevent illegal activity, as there is a big world out there and it all cannot be viewed through the lens of a camera. As per usual, IMO. Too bad there was not better surveillance when Brittanee was taken away from her loved ones so justice could prevail.

I may be wrong but im thinking that Law put those camaras etc there when they rivers guy and others buried that girl there, but you always got ppl that screw things up,,,,but seems no where is safe we had 3 ppl gtown le was looking for all week they capture 2 and then one of them got away not once but twice in one day but le finally found him ,,bottom line our le needs lose weight these guys can out run most of our cops,,,,,

There is a thread in the crimes thread for the young woman whose body was recently found. I took alot of links over there that were provided by all you super sleuths here. Hope that is okay with everyone. There are too many missing/murdered young women in those three counties, and there could be no connection but we'll never know if we don't at least check it out.

Same here. We're a small town and most of the recruits for LE that we get are just looking to do their training and move on to a larger city that pays better. Luckily, we put a stipulation in the new contracts that says the rookies must stay with our city for x amount of years before leaving.

I see so many cops riding around in cars that in some cases look like they needed a crow bar to get them into the car. Good thing they have guns; just hope they're good aims. I appreciate them but worry that they may not be able to perform their duties because of their weight.

are could be some of seem clan,,i know the rivers guy is in jail been there since May,,and this guy i was talking of yesterday that got away from cops twice last name is rivera so im not sure if last name could be spell wrong but i can say they could pass as brothers by there photos,,,i know its not getting any better in 3 counties to many murders,,,i feel we not hear anything till t's trail comes up thats first of Sept,,you can bet his lawyer is not letting him talk,im just really waiting on the hearing,i got my odds he pay a fine be set free,,MOO tho

so she was a pretty, petite blond like Britt...and charleston is near where rivers lives (he's incarcerated right? but i'm sure he has friends and family...) i wonder where her car is?

So guess when LE reported the burned up brand new van found "20 minutes" away from where this poor girl was found probably was not connected. Yes, I sure do wonder who is driving her car now. I guess I'll stick my neck out and say this sounds like some possible trip to Charleston for something illicit. Only saying this because of the facts as given by fiance'. Sounds like he did not want to say why she was going there. But with that said, she could have been going to church for all I even know. Just trying to figure out what happened but we may never know. All my own opinions. We may now be back to square one in hoping for any clues for finding Brittanee, at least in this case. I had wondered if it would turn out to be a "domestic dispute gone horribly wrong" for this girl.

RoseC, I will be in VA Beach when this trial is supposed to begin but you can be sure I'll have my laptop and if the "connection" is good where we are staying, I'll be trying to keep an eye out to see how things transpire.
