Bbm.
Hmmm.

Earlier, it was said Brad was not cooperating.
I'm still hopeful he didn't get a plea deal.
I wish he'd get life w/o parole, but at the very least locked away long enough to keep him from further harming the kids; esp. the younger ones.
Omo.

Her wealthy realtor husband Brad Simpson, 53, has been arrested and held over the disappearance. Brad is not cooperating with police and is being held on a $2 million bond.
I statements could be witness statements. Perhaps someone came forward who spotted his car. The police investigation could be LE then pieced together his movements, perhaps through cameras. The evidence could be seeing him stop by a dumpster or perhaps indications at a dumpster that Suzanne had been in it.

I don't think any of this requires his cooperation, though it is in his children's best interest if he did cooperate. Apparently that doesn't move him.

That’s a really strong statement at this stage. It seems they know for a fact she was put into a dumpster. I wonder if there’s video or something.
Sadly I have to agree. Another selfish husband/father leaving his own children without a mother. Don't get why they can't just man up and get a divorce.

Hopefully there will at least be some resolution soon, even though it isn't the outcome we were praying for.......

I think normally that would be the case, but we're talking about a landfill here, which always has lots of buzzards. No shortage of food there.
Yeah, I guess you're right about that. We live in the country and when we see buzzards it's only when there's something that drew them. I wasn't thinking before typing....... Duh on me.

Yeah, under any other circumstances it's a sign that a body might be close by. That's how they found the body of that Kentucky highway shooter.

Another controlling man who views a woman as his possession.
Their ego feels bruised when a woman wants to leave. Femicide is the ultimate act of control.

She is literally garbage to him.

What was this guy thinking, did he really think he could get away with this? How horrible to do this to her, their children, loved ones and her friends. It really makes me sick.
He had no fear of being seen physically assaulting his wife outside the home.

He had no fear that her screams in the woods would attract attention.

And he was right. A male witness saw all of this as it was happening and chose not to say anything.

So yeah, I believe he thought he would get away with this.

He should be sitting in the hot sun witnessing first hand what these investigators are doing and finding.
I can't fathom what it must be like for the people who conduct this type of search. It's hard enough in itself having to search in these conditions, but to do so knowing what it is they are going to find just makes me wish there were some way for them to "unremember" it all afterwards.

Where would we be if not for the commitment of these amazing searchers?

Right.
And now this scum will never again enjoy his wealth and lifestyle while he sits in a prison cell. Was it worth it?
Didn't he even give a thought to the pain he would inflict on his children?
May he live in misery for the rest of his life.
Why these arrogant despicable men don't just get a divorce and move on, I'll never understand.

JMHO. My guess is that information that is coming out about prior behaviors is correct. He may have anger and alcohol issues that have been escalating. The most dangerous time with an abuser is when a woman is getting ready to go or has just left. The loss of control can fuel severe violence. In many situations, those around a victim of abuse or spouse of a raging alcoholic try to get them out but are unsuccessful. I wish it weren''t so but this situation seems to be heading where many others go.

I guess its 'crime of passion' to do it -- then the adrenaline kicks in to cover the tracks, etc. He might have been planning some of it - then anger (and maybe alcohol) kicked in to make it happen too early for his plans. Been wondering the same thing.

Police say they are close to finding missing San Antonio woman Suzanne Simpson

Police are in the 'search stage' for the remains of missing Olmos Park mom and evidence at an East Side San Antonio landfill. 'Good chance of recovering Suzanne.'

Police on Tuesday continued searching an East Side landfill for the remains of Suzanne Simpson, the missing San Antonio area real estate agent. They told her family they were optimistic she would be found there.

Barton Tinsley Simpson, Suzanne Simpson’s brother-in-law, said the Olmos Park Police Department sent him a message Monday indicating that investigators feel “there is a good chance of recovering Suzanne” at the landfill.
Law enforcement personnel from various state and local agencies began searching the landfill site, located off FM 1516, on Monday morning. Both days they searched until about 4 p.m.
