So who is this anonymous witness and how did they know about the gun?!!

I am good with anonymous so the person is safe. I would say that there is lots of video cameras at all of these high end homes with probably fairly nice features....... Obviously someone who has a working knowledge of these folks as well.

if an individual builds a firearm at home and then sells it to a pawn broker or another federally licensed dealer, that dealer must put a serial

IIRC, the neighbor heard screams, not gunfire. Would never say never on the gunfire especially with the idea of a silencer. There is a reason they have gotten the business partner on the hidden gun. I hope we will hear about the links soon. But, it is good to know that whoever is speaking up (anonymously or otherwise) is helping to make a case against these alleged criminals. They are both looking like some bad guys with a gun to me right about now. JMHO.

IMO I don’t think BS had a gun on him in the woods… how else would he be able to carry a gun (like a rifle or AK47) while getting in a physical altercation with SS.

Authorities are also asking for tips on Brad's 2019 black GMC Sierra and whether it was seen on Oct. 6.

They've tried to question him.

"He still has not cooperated. We would love for him to give us some information because we're searching for her," Villegas said.

This Grand Power Stribog SP9 A3, 9×19 mm caliber rifle, serial number GSB4435, manufactured in Slovakia, was seized from Brad Simpson’s home. (U.S. District Court, Western District of Texas)

Tend to agree @Bean&Cheese ….. and in the argument described in the woods by the neighbor IIRC, could BS have held fire and not used the gun? IDK but seems unlikely? Seems he was angry or heated at SCS, as there was some discomfort between the two at the public setting earlier I believe? And yet why was he so interested in that one weapon being hidden? IMO there seems to have been slight careful planning after the fact by the suspect. As some mentioned up thread, perhaps that weapon might have ties to something else?

I hope they can find her remains before too much more time elapses.

And perhaps something will arise with one or more of the weapons, such that someone, somewhere starts to talk. MOO

Bbm.
Agreed with everything, esp. the bolded.

I am also fearful that if too much time goes by, there may not be a concrete cause of death ?
So sad for her kids who needed their mom; and for her immediate family.
Brad has also devastated his own family as well.
Fingers still crossed that the friend will spill.
Omo.

I think that BS knew he was most likely going to be arrested and he especially knew that his homes would be searched after SS went missing.
He knew that owning his AK47/machine gun was illegal (not registered and without a semi-automatic setting) and he wanted it hidden/ didn’t want to dispose of it- so he asked his friend/ business partner/ hunting buddy to hide it.
Apparently a FULLY AUTOMATIC AK47 costs about $30-35k if you can find one so no wonder he wanted it hidden. They have sold for as much as $80k
An AK 47 that’s not fully automatic would be worth a lot less/would be a common gun and nothing he would have been in a panic to hide.

The Stribog (short barreled rifle) was removed from his home last week.

I would be curious to know when/ where BS acquired his prized fully automatic AK47 machine gun…..
All IMHO

I’m trying to understand timeline from getting home from party, to SS and BS landing in the woods. Did SS drop little one off at home with older sibling ( or who else home) to babysit while they went away from children to (presumably) finish the argument? Plus, they’ve released footage of SS on video. Has anyone else been shown on video? If that is the case, I would think older sibling or whoever was home to watch little one would be interviewed. I don’t know if this is known yet? Thanks.

I know VERY little about guns so you could say almost anything and I might believe it. But what you say comes across as extremely knowledgeable and I really appreciate your insight. Very helpful. Thank you!

Are any other theories being considered?
What if she was incapacitated in the woods by BS and he came back into the wood from another manner after leaving the house that night in the truck…from literally anywhere in the olmos basin park …it has great concrete trails that are vehicle sized. Olmos Basin Trailhead · San Antonio, Texas Look at photos on that link. He could’ve literally gone anywhere after that.

And what is this pump house with a .22 he refers to in the text messages to cotter ? Is it a .22 pistol or rifle. Those are quieter and do plenty of damage . Anyone know more on this pump house ?

The sunshine school for deaf children is not far from the olmos basin park. It has a big wooded area also . And the San Antonio water system (SAWS) backs up to it. 1/4 mi from the contour /olmos house & park . Maybe closer.

And where’s his work location? Presumably the well drilling company had an office or depot base of trucks & drilling equip. Did he go there? Do they have a refuse area?

according only to the timeline developed by the neighbor's "he returned in/after 1 to 2 hours"

I would believe anywhere from 1-3 hours would be reasonable (barring more specifics about neighbor and how she arrived at that timeline....

In fact, 2 hours would allow a drive to IH10 at Dominion, plus an hour to disappear a body down a convenient hidey-hide that BS might have familiarity with, let us say, for the sake of argument, maybe one of a dozen Sewer entrances running along Leon Creek adjacent or near adjacent to the Dominion Golf Course.....

It's not like BS was the VP of a quality Well Service Company, had an AK-47 and knowledge and access to an area like that where some people could've heard, oh say something like nearly a dozen gunshots in that same time-frame, at that same location... Now is it???View attachment 540214
This very well could match up in line with the timeline. Especially if he had help (Cotter) meet him there. I live a street over in Olmos Park, and w/o traffic on I-10, you can get to that area in 15-ish minutes. The one thing that’s good about I-10 is all the DPS cams they have, even in that short drive- and many of them have LP recognition, which I believe they probably gathered in the initial stages. I have a feeling that he went back to the woods to retrieve her, but instead of parking along contour, he went over to Park Drive (the first part of park dr) where the basin covers the entire part of the other street. I could be way off, but there are various little nooks/entrances on that side. Even right past the new, super modern house on the corner. Since cars park on the side of the road where the basin is on that street, it wouldn’t have been too out of place.complete speculation, but it’d be the closest entrance while also away from his home and contour where the screaming occurred. Since the neighbor saw him driving away, and not pulling up/stopping on contour where they had entered, it makes me think he either went further down contour, or just around the corner to park drive/potentially walked the gate line of the modern house which would put him close to where the screaming had occurred. Whichever it was, if he had to retrieve her from the basin, I feel like that would be at least 30-40 minutes of that time (again, could be totally off). I have a feeling after, he most likely drove her somewhere, and could see him going to the Dominion area with Cotter helping. With the amount of properties owned by the cotter family in the dominion, he could have even met Cotter, have him put her somewhere until the morning, and then returned after dropping the kids off at school or even waited until dusk the next evening (it’s odd to me just how close he was to Cotters and that area when arrested). I don’t think he had time to get to Bandera and back nor do I think he’d want to travel that far. There’s various properties either directly associated with Cotter or family members in the dominion that back right up to the golf course, so it definitely could be a possibility if gunshots were heard. I’m familiar with what the “norm” is in OP, and I wouldn’t think hearing that many gunshots so close/on the dominion golf course would be normal- but again, could be wrong. I don’t think they’d go up by camp bullis (IMO) but there is a ton of land just down the road and near TMI. And, that road is one of the darkest roads at night. There’s so many different scenarios that could’ve happened, I’m just hopeful they went through each of those DPS cams on I-10 west at the onset, and if he was on any major road, they were able to follow his movements just by those cameras even prior to having a SW for his GMC…

"We are devastated by the loss of my sister," Simpson's sister, Teresa Clark, told WOAI-TV. "The search will continue and we will not stop until we find her. We are going to bring Suzanne home because Suzanne was an incredible mother, daughter, sister. And she was a beloved person of the San Antonio community."

She continued by telling the station that Simpson "has a large tribe and a large family because we are determined to find her ... We are going to bring her home

The other odd thing about the dominion is that it’s a gated community with security that sees you coming and going and logs your vehicle. Seems odd and kind of stupid that S would be coming and going from the Dominion. Clearly, the security team at the Dominion is talking to LE. No telling what they have observed.

I’m wondering if he got it from Cotter and that’s why Cotter was willing to hide it for him.

Access to sewers driving in from Aue rd by Silver Fox, behind Rudy's BBQ, down the creek from IH10 by the Dominion Golf Maintenance shed;
or drive through Dominion Security and through golf course and/or walk in from Country Club, from Cliff Line rd cul-de-sac

Or just stroll in from any of those places or through Grand at the Dominion Apts (same Apts Nicole Olsen was viewing an moving into - reportedly; contacted by the manager the same day as the murders at Anaqua Springs)

But ya- hope LE bothers to ask Security at the Dom.

Maybe he borrowed a dominion owner vehicle . They don’t stop them. They have stickers.

Really disappointed about how quiet this has gotten. I was so hopeful with the searches last week, the news earlier this week and thinking that Suzanne would have been recovered by now. Can't help but think about her children and all they are going through.
