I’m still digesting all the info in the arrest warrant.

Brad really is a narcissistic freak- driving through and getting fast food with his wife’s corpse in his truck.
I thought he dumped her body the night he killed her and went back for it.
Maybe he just went out to buy the blue tarp? Or he had that already and just loaded her body into the tarp and she sat in the truck all night.
Did he drive the 5 year old to school with her mom’s body in the truck or was it dumped and retrieved after the school drop and before visiting the drive-through?

What hurts so much is thinking about the extent of how Suzanne and her kids suffered.

He repeatedly took away her phone:

Data from Brad Simpson’s cellphone showed a text message that Brad Simpson sent to a woman on Sept. 17, 2023 that read:
"I still feel bad about tonight. I never should've grabbed her phone and drove off but she was so protective of it. My dumb 🤬🤬🤬 didn't know her pass code so I got locked out and had to bring it back. I really have no interest in looking through her phone or anybody else's. These devices are the Devil."

Turns out he’s the Devil himself.

One of the most painful things to me is her telling the banker to look for her in a lake.
Omg - the Devil must have threatened to kill her and dump her body in a lake.
Can you even imagine hearing that from your spouse and the father of your kids?
How else would she ever have come up with that?

Her friends knew right away that he killed her. They must have been privy to some of his threats over the years as well. I bet her friend that reported her missing told the police they all knew he killed her. Outcry against him was swift and hard.

Last note - obviously the warrant wasn’t redacted well- easy to read under all the black marks- THE NEIGHBOR WHO IS THE PREMIER WITNESS IS ONLY 65 YEARS OLD.
Shame on him for not reporting the fight, screams etc. Shame on him for remaining silent until questioned. If he was 85 it would be somewhat understandable but 65-
no excuses for ignoring that violence.

No wonder Suzanne’s eldest daughter is speaking out against the community.
They knew Brad was the Devil but let him get away with it for years.
So very very sad.

All IMHO

10 pm: SS and BS struggle outside home in Olmos Park

11 pm: BS starts truck

- 11:09 pm BS turns off cell phone

Monday 10/7/2024

12:33 am BS truck on camera at HEB (no cargo except white ice chest)

(I am going to assume that he went home after this and that’s when neighbor heard truck return home)

07:53= Truck on camera at Howard Early Childhood Center (with white trash bags x2, and ice chest)

* assume BS returns home and loads up truck with another trash bag (now 3), LRG trash can, blue tarp w/ concealed body.

09:12 BS truck on camera at Whataburger with trash bags x3, lrg trash can, blue tarp w/ body

09:53 BS at Home Depot bought: 2 bags quickcrete, Orange contruction bucket w/ lid, 32 ct trash bags, Clorox, and bug spray)

- BS asked random person where nearest dump site is in Boerne

10:07 BS truck caught on camera leaving Kendall County waste site (toss trash bags? Or just assessed and left?)

11:15 BS truck at Valero in Kendall County

- Bought gas and 1 Gal water x2

- White trash bags missing (Blue tarp w/ body and lrg trash can still present)

- Changed into cowboy boots

- Did he mix concrete here?

11:20 Surveillance camera catches truck heading from Boerne to Bandera (items still seen in truck) and truck data shows BS driving to Medina (BS shuts off phone), was there for 13 minutes, before heading back towards Kendall county.

* What is the exact location where BS stopped? Was it in a wooded area? Was it near the lake? Did he hide her body to later return to it to dispose of it?

13:41 BS truck on license plate reader (LPR) entering Boerne (NO LONGER HAS BLUE TARP)

15:27 LPR (location unknown)- perhaps at Kindergarten picking up daughter? But, not blue tarp

16:07 BS on camera at carwash cleaning driver’s side and rear passenger side w/ Clorox

- Forensics of truck noted BS blood and dried cement splatters in L rear passenger side and in back of truck

< BS unaccounted for between 10/7/24 16:07 and 10/8/24 16:35 (at least from what we know from the arrest affidavit) >

Tuesday 10/8/2024

- 9 am OPPD and BS phone interview re: missing SS

- Forensics indicate that BS wrote 2 notes on his phone

- Bandera sheriff “contacted” BS while he was standing next to an active fire on his property

- which later revealed evidence of a laptop and 3 phones

16:35 BS texted Cotter, “If you’re still in Bandera, can you haul 🤬🤬🤬 and meet me at your house?”… “I don’t have much time…” (* Assumption: BS knew Cotter would be in Bandera that day, now communicating via regular phones since (assumption), BS and Cotter were communicating previously with burner phones that were burned earlier that day.)

Cotter: “I will be there in 40 mins.”

BS: OK, make sure and leave all that 🤬🤬🤬🤬 in the pump house, especially that gun”.

20:31 Cotter to BS, “Get over here, I won’t tell anyone.”

Wednesday 10/08/2024

12 am- ish: BS arrested.

Questions that I am left with:

- What were Cotter’s whereabouts between 10/7/24 11am and 10/8/24 2030?

- Did he help dispose of the body?

- Did BS permanently dispose of the body during the 13 mins in Medina or did he just hide it for either him or Cotter to dispose of it?

- Does BS or Cotter own a boat? Which would give them access later to dump body in the lake? OR a nearby well/sewer/water tank?

- Digging would require a shovel and there was no mention of a shovel being found.

- The orange bucket and lid has not been recovered

-If the body was temporarily placed in Medina, I would think that he would have had the body permanently disposed of (either by him or Cotter) by the time he burned the burner phones the morning of 10/8.

Medina Lake is not between Bandera and Medina...It is quite a ways from Medina, on the other side of Bandera near Pipe Creek. I grew up here, so for sure not trying to discount your post, just want to make sure info doesn't get mixed up :)
Great intel- thank you!!!!!

Medina Lake and Medina the town are very far away from each other. Plus Medina Lake is dry right now...His house in Bandera is actually about half way between Medina and Bandera, so getting to Medina and the dumpsters he was allegedly tracked to for 13 minutes would make sense.
Thank you for explaining this! He was tracked to dumpsters in Medina? (If so, then I wonder if those get dumped in the Southside landfill where they were searching?)

Are there any bodies of water in the general area that are possibilities?
I know where his "ranch" (it's like 3 acres on a road with other acreage homes, so not a ranch by any stretch) is on the Medina River, but again its super low right now.

Suddenly wondered if he was unfaithful during the marriage. Judging on looks alone, he could have been.

This is what panic looks like. He outsmarted himself with the phone stuff, and never considered license plate readers and video surveillance.
I told my husband in the world today you should expect you are on a camera the minute you walk out of your home. These people turning off their phones is nuts too. I mean I rarely even restart my phone and it's always on other than that. If it's turned off, something has happened to me or I've lost my mind and doing something I shouldn't be.

In one article it said his text to cotter said bring a guy and meet me …(the haul a— text) …

My hypothesis is that he met up w “the guy” and cotter and the guy took the truck to Medina and handled the transfer of items to another ranch truck quickly (supplies andtarp wrapped body etc ) and then returned the truck to Brad . COtter later took the guy back to the other vehicle and dropped him off to do the burial. While Brad drove around boerne with stuff in his truck and dropped off / went to burn the laptops at diff locations in and around boerne.

Just a guess. But he had help it seems clear.
I seriously doubt Cotter would be out on bail if he handled disposal and I think he would have told where the disposal of Suzanne took place. Noting : the affidavit does not state “ bring a guy” unless you have a link or source for that content in the text.

Evidently Brad left the blue tarp and its contents in Medina Tx on 10/07/24. They are saying he only had 13 minutes in town between the west bound and east bound detection on a camera. I wonder what connections, property or personal, Brad has in Medina? I am speculating that drop off was an overnight location. He probably returned on 10/08/24 and concealed Suzanne’s body when he had more time. Why don’t they continue to give evidence of his movements on 10/08 until his arrest in the early morning of 10/09/24? If he did not return to Medina the following day that would lead to speculation that he had help. Thirteen minutes is not enough time to mix concrete, or dig a hole. There are no large bodies of water in the town of Medina either.

Medina is a small town of approximately 500 people in western Bandera County; 9 miles west of the property on Highland that is mentioned as the scene of the burning. There is a Medina county that is nearby as well just to complicate the situation. As well as Medina Lake that I believe is in both Bandera and Medina Counties. I may be wrong on that.
Medina Lake is so dreadfully low he would never have disposed of her body in it. The drought that the area has suffered has the lake at below 3% of its volume

Great work by the LE agencies, very impressed! Hopefully they will soon find her body so she can be put to rest.

The link to that is in this thread back on page 7 or 8

I’ll try to find it.

That and the lake is dry and the river is low right now...
Yes, no way that lake is the site. It’s a major drought with little water . People have no idea the severe water situation.

He clearly had help.

Timeline is tight, water burial seems out (water table doesn't support), dug grave seems unlikely, just no time for it.

What's he got access to? People do what they know.

My guess: 50/100' feet deep, with a crown of concrete.

This guy must think he's a genius. If it wasn't all so sad, it would be amusing. Vehicle tracking puts him at Home Depot where he pays cash (presumably to avoid being able to trace the sale) ON CAMERA!!!

Agree, you know they must be so frustrated with so much information and the tight window of opportunity for him to dispose of her yet they haven't found Suzanne.
The night she went missing. Do you think he actually had her in the truck bed that night wrapped in the blue tarp? I'm assuming he had the tarp at home. To think he drove his daughter to school with her dead mother in the truck bed is pretty incredible. All JMO
