Discovery channel has a special on at 2:00 est on the rescue.
It’s called “operation Thai cave rescue.
No clue what they will show but I’m recording!

Sounds like a repeat from last night. It was extremely well done, imho.

CNN just ran a nice segment on the rescue including statements by the boys. As I was watching it occurred to me that 13 will no longer be an unlucky number. A couple of minutes later the commentator said the same thing.

Thanks Elainera. I hadn't seen that info yet. I bet the smell was awful after 10 days, but at least it wasn't the smell of death!

John Volanthen and Rick Stanton told the BBC they “smelt the children before we saw or heard them”.

“Wherever there is air space, we surface, we shout, we smell,” Mr Volanthen told the BBC. “It’s a standard procedure for such rescue operations.”

Not hard to get a sense of their relief at finding live bodies, considering they expected to find them deceased. moo

Thank you Gardner for keeping us updated with all the best updatesAnd also I have watched the 20/20 and the Discovery Channel features. Hopefully folks will share with others when they come across another one so I can watch it on demand.

I giggled to myself when each one of them were talking about what food they wanted! They are sick and tired of hospital food for sure!

I'm wondering if the marketing people from Kentucky Fried Chicken are going wild wanting to use this, but know that they cannot because they would get backlash?

Thai Navy seal Facebook site has come out saying that a t-shirt that is being widespread on the internet misleading people that is offered by them (as a fundraiser?) is a fake site. I would do a screenshot or a link but I don't think I'm allowed to.

They are using the graphic on the back of the shirt that was the one that we all have seen that is a cartoon representative of the cave and all the animals representing the different people that helped them people.

Haven't seen Discovery but it really hit me when CNN described the "submerged" travel distance during rescue as the equivalent of x 11 football fields! Difficult to fathom.....

IIRC, there was a video posted a day or two ago that showed three of the boys walking around in the ward. They all looked to have phones.

Probably due to infection control issues. They have just been cleared from infectious diseases AFAIK.
