apparently they did although it was DRY and boys were not exhausted/starved/weak at that time.

Jacob Goldberg is at the scene of the rescue site waiting for the press conference to begin along with reporters from around the world who have assembled in anticipation of the interior minister’s announcement.

Crowds of police officers are scurrying back and forth across the rescue camp like something is about to happen. A generator hums in the background. A few drops of rain are falling.

Spotlights shine on the platform where the interior minister is expected to make an announcement. Reporters are lingering around the platform. We’ve been waiting for hours.

Hi all. Good morning and good afternoon and what not. This rescue attempt is clearly a mess. The ups and downs in reportage show a lack of a definiative plan. They doing a bit of this and a bit of that, but oh also let’s try some of this maybe too. I don’t fault them. They are working very hard and are exhausted. I think the concern is the issue of liability. The seals may not want the liability of risking their lives and the lives of the boys. Government officials may already know some would certainly die if attempted. They know they may end up the bad guys. They are trying to save their own tushes and hoping some better option will crop up. The thing is, waiting sounds like dooming them all to death. In this scenario however the government doesn’t have to have the seals or themselves critiqued (they will be either way) at least not as it relates to a direct and risky command “they are diving.” I think they are really stuck, government and rescuers and the boys. Very much figuratively and literally. I don’t think they are wrong not diving the boys out per se, but it is down the wire and the flip flopping, one idea in, one idea out, a little bit of this, a little of that will prove as we all know too little too late. I just don’t what can be done. I hope they don’t base any decisions around PR related concerns. I wish them the best and am grateful for all they are doing.

They've stopped the feed for now. It's posted under "upcoming" so hopefully soon.

I imagine that they had to move their livecam to the place where the press coverage will be taking place.

I keep checking for when it's live again.

I wonder if the seals are in the process of taking some of the boys out and we just don't know it yet.

Can anyone read Dutch, I think this says they are starting today bringing out 2 boys at a time as per a Belgian diver onsite at the cave??

I can’t. I woke up at 3 am in a cold sweat about these boys and saw the SEAL had died.

Pretty sad. I hope there are no more deaths but I'm pretty concerned about it. I think the boys can make it out with the scuba gear. My fear is for the ones that are especially weak. They need to have some strength to get thru the small opening by themselves. Maybe the seal on the other side could pull them thru on the rope. Then they also have some climbing to do. Maybe they can be carried or pulled. I'm hoping their adrenaline will kick in and give them added strength.
