I like hearing this! Their wills are strong!
Yes! And they had an intense course in meditation that will be extremely helpful during the rescue.

Another new shaft was found today by searchers above #ThamLuang cave, beyond the chamber where the boys are located. Police paratroopers have rappelled down 100 meters, but have not hit bottom. Searchers now preparing to send down a remote vehicle with camera to explore further.
Maybe they are going to attempt both ways as some of the boys aren't strong enough? Get out the stronger ones with the swim and hike right away, the others as soon as they can complete the hole digging and the boys could be lifted out? There is a confirmed tweet by engineer Elon Musk stating he is sending his Boring Company engineers to talk with rescue officials on Saturday. His "hole digging" engineers wouldn't have an appointment to speak with rescue officials on Saturday if the boys were going to be dived out on Friday.
A lot of rehearsing. I want to see the performance.13m ago 16:49
ITV’s Richard Gaisford has tweeted a video of Thai soldiers rehearsing earlier. He says that the announcement from Thai authorities is imminent.

Are "diving" wet suits different than "normal" wet suits? I guess they must be, because child sized wet suits are widely available.

I bought wet suits for my grandkids on Amazon. Amazon could have delivered the suits to Thailand by this time. No, they aren't different. That's why I'm disgusted. I have no doubt manufacturers would have sent whatever Thai officials requested.
I honestly think it was poor reporting. I'll be they have the proper sizes. No, they aren't different. That's why I'm disgusted. I have no doubt manufacturers would have sent whatever Thai officials requested.

Just remember we have got information coming from everywhere, both official and unofficial sources. Reporters of all nations, friends of reporters, the police, the divers, the Navy, the volunteers. Then there's translation; some will be spot on, some will be more amateur, some will be using auto-translate which is rubbish. The news outlets are all vying to be the first with news, it's all a bit chaotic and it's not surprising contradictory and sometimes inaccurate reports are coming in.
There's also the Thai culture of "saving face', an innate, instinctive, unique trait that characterises their nation. Often a Thai will lie rather than admit defeat. As for directions to a particular place and if they don't know they'll tell you something random anyway. Google it, it's so interesting.
Thailand is reportedly one of the worst countries where journalistsI know the mentality well. It's the same here in India. You don't talk about problems, you don't say 'no'. The answer is always "Sure ok, no problem" even if you asked whether the rickshaw can drive you to New York. Not criticizing but it certainly is confusing sometimes. We might have similar issues with the reporting out of Thailand here.
