Somebody had an idea on twitter yesterday, but IHNI if it would work. I'm not sure if I can remember the exact thing, but I think they said something like using liquid nitrogen on the water to freeze it, then bore a tunnel to get the kids out. Probably to late to try it, but I thought it was interesting.

20 minute video from India Today (English News Channel)

Great video, thanks for posting. Worth a watch imo. Not much new information, but some important points highlighted. I don’t know why but I feel a little better after watching this video.

That is interesting. I think one of the biggest issues (amongst many), is how well documented the caves are, specific to structural integrity. As I mentioned upthread, I'd be concerned about the cause and effect of drilling and how it could displace, or stimulate additional water flow. A very tricky operation, as we all know.

I'm praying against all odds, that some opening is found that can reach these kids. Going out the way they came in successfully will require superhuman rescue skills, and the hands of the angels themselves.

I don't think I can bear to read the letters to the parents until the boys are safely out of the cave.

Yes, and now that I think about it, when water freezes, it expands. This could cause all sorts of problems with cracks in the rock and possible collapse. Ugh.

I love that they have shared a bit of the personal notes with us but I wish they had waited and shared these with the public after the boys were safely out. These must have been written several days ago before they had the telephone line in, right? I hope the conditions in the cave have not worsened... I still worry that we have not seen new video of the boys for several days now.

I don’t even really think the boys wrote those. Or if they did they were told to say something nice and positive and one thing they want to do.

Guys, I’m so scared. I don’t trust this media or any of the people in charge. Thank you all for being so strong and positive.
