Adding Aussie diving anesthesiologist’s Vimeo to this thread, his videos are amazing Richard Harris

Someone on Twitter has a good sense of humour, says as long as they get them out before Elon Musks thrown together capsule arrives! LOL

There doesn't seem any reason whatsoever to rush the last group out, and I agree, every reason in the world to keep replicating their wildly successful rescue routine.

That the rescue time keeps lessening must lift the spirits & burden of everyone involved.

The news of 8 out now is wondrous !

I join the world in prayers for each and everyone out of that cave.

Namaste,

I'm caught up now. I started reading from where I'd left off.

This is wonderful! I'm so relieved for the boys who are now freed, and I hope the others are in better spirits knowing that they will also be out soon!

This is so great and really happy things are going well.

I sure would hate to be the last ones waiting but I do agree they will probably keep a diver or two with the last ones to make sure they dont panic and to keep them calm. That will help a lot to have divers waiting with the last ones.

I am thinking they will probably only take 4 on the next run because of the logistics in how they are doing it will probably limit them to do the same thing with only 4. Which means the very last one may have to wait until a final run.

What an incredible undertaking this all has been and still is...from finding these boys deep in the cave (alive) to getting them out to triage...and all the work in between...getting the most experienced cave divers to filling & moving all those tanks, etc.

As tired as everyone probably is, they all have to be incredibly pleased how this is going. Many, many thanks to all involved!

It must bring some peace of mind to have multiple options to rescue the boys, if other options can't work. I say bring as many ideas as possible :D We're talking about lives of children here. In addition to that- the future of rescuing may be changed due to the ideas people will have during this time of the cave rescue in Thailand.

Yes it really is amazing and all the unsung heroes that have to restock the tanks along the route. I hope the unsung heroes get recognized as well because so many people worked so hard and risked their lives even if they werent the ones that escorted the boys out of the cave.

Lots of divers involved with this operation. Its really amazing story. I am sure the movie people are already starting on a script in hollywood. Lets hope it continues to have a happy ending. And the 1 diver that already lost his life should never be forgotten.

I'm still holding out for a press conference from a foreign doctor
proclaiming 'all rescued are in good condition'.
I'm still concerned.

Dear Amonet,

Doesn't this news feel like being handed an envelope and opening it to find a miracle inside?

Gratitude around the world and prayers for this miracle to continue.

Namaste,

Exactly. If bad rains ever filled the cave all the way up again then a rescue pod like he was shown using may be a good option. It looked small enough to fit through the small passages.

There were so many good ideas that different people shared.

If there are 4 out and 4 in chamber 3, maybe the coach will be the last one out.

Hopefully he has been getting a lot of replenishment

The eleven-year-old child was tiny and as skinny as a stick before he underwent nine days without food. He won't have much muscle mass left on his arms and legs. He may have required Musk's pod or other flotation devices once he was out of the U turn choke point.

Yes!!!

I'm not a believer in miracles but a believer in the humans helping. There are people out there as we type risking their lives, one lost his life...to help. Divers overnight risked their lives for MANY hours to save these kids. My gratitude goes to them and all involved- from the chefs, to the people doing laundry, to the people coming up with rescue ideas that can be manufactured, to the people collecting garbage on site- there are so many humans helping <3 Imo, there are no miracles here- there are big hearts and hard workers.

Rest in peace to a hero in the cave rescue ~ Saman Gunan ~ You won't be forgotten for many reasons, one of which is the tanks you left SAVED the kids!!!
