Adding Aussie diving anesthesiologist’s Vimeo to this thread, his videos are amazing Richard Harris
There doesn't seem any reason whatsoever to rush the last group out, and I agree, every reason in the world to keep replicating their wildly successful rescue routine.
That the rescue time keeps lessening must lift the spirits & burden of everyone involved.
Okay. I must go to sleep. It is now 5:38 AM. I actually pulled an all nighter. This was super fun y'all. So happy they got out alive! Chat with you in a few hours!
The news of 8 out now is wondrous !
I join the world in prayers for each and everyone out of that cave.
Namaste,
Someone on Twitter has a good sense of humour, says as long as they get them out before Elon Musks thrown together capsule arrives! LOL
What an incredible undertaking this all has been and still is...from finding these boys deep in the cave (alive) to getting them out to triage...and all the work in between...getting the most experienced cave divers to filling & moving all those tanks, etc.
As tired as everyone probably is, they all have to be incredibly pleased how this is going. Many, many thanks to all involved!
I'm caught up now. I started reading from where I'd left off.
This is wonderful! I'm so relieved for the boys who are now freed, and I hope the others are in better spirits knowing that they will also be out soon!
It must bring some peace of mind to have multiple options to rescue the boys, if other options can't work. I say bring as many ideas as possibleWe're talking about lives of children here. In addition to that- the future of rescuing may be changed due to the ideas people will have during this time of the cave rescue in Thailand.
If there are 4 out and 4 in chamber 3, maybe the coach will be the last one out.
The eleven-year-old child was tiny and as skinny as a stick before he underwent nine days without food. He won't have much muscle mass left on his arms and legs. He may have required Musk's pod or other flotation devices once he was out of the U turn choke point. It must bring some peace of mind to have multiple options to rescue the boys, if other options can't work. Yes it really is amazing and all the unsung heroes that have to restock the tanks along the route. I hope the unsung heroes get recognized as well because so many people worked so hard and risked their lives even if they werent the ones that escorted the boys out of the cave.
Lots of divers involved with this operation. Its really amazing story. I am sure the movie people are already starting on a script in hollywood. Lets hope it continues to have a happy ending. And the 1 diver that already lost his life should never be forgotten.
Or 3/2.I wonder if they will do a five person chain next...four boys plus the coach?
