CNN just announced that they will have one of the rescuers on from the first four

I had trouble hearing him very well, but according to the CNN host:
He reports there was no panic with the children ... "they didn't panic and everything went very smoothly"

Diver interviewed on CNN said there was no panic among the kids when he worked the rescue. He couldn't really see them as they were layered up in thermal gear and masks to keep them warm on the trip. Couldn't give an opinion on their health as he is not a health care professional and couldn't see them very well.

He said after today's result, the divers are probably in very good spirits.

Is that an ambulance or a cop on Reuters?

I think there are still 5 on the ledge.

I think the four in chamber 3 are the four who have got out today.

Nothing will happen now until tomorrow.

So get some sleep!! :p

Thanks, Cagz!
I still wonder about the chamber thing - it would make sense that they would break up the perilous, grueling journey into two days for these weak boys.
But the again, dealing with the all equipment twice...
and maybe they wouldn't sleep well on a new spot.
idk... yeah - once they got going, they probably wouldn't want to stop the momentum.
idk
thank you - yes, i shall get some sleep tonight!o_O

CNN also saying 8th one out!!!

This is so great to hear. 5 more to go!

Waking up to this good news. 8 out of cave. YIPEEE!

They will likely have to restock the air tanks along the route so there will now be another delay getting tanks all stocked along the route.

While restocking takes place the divers involved in the actual pull out of the boys will get some rest and I think they will probably be the same ones going in again when restocking ready.

Since they have been successful then they will not want to change anything and they will just keep using the same method each time.

Reposting link as it states unconfirmed reports that four more have been rescued.

Lots more info about the boys and the rescue method used.

some of this has to be semantics i think the 4 more is in addition to yesterday not 4 more after the four from a couple of hours ago does that make sense?

There doesn't seem any reason whatsoever to rush the last group out, and I agree, every reason in the world to keep replicating their wildly successful rescue routine.

That the rescue time keeps lessening must lift the spirits & burden of everyone involved.

The "four in chamber 3" was an earlier report, wasn't it? It could be the same four who have purportedly got fully out today.

Either way, don't worry, even if there's only one left on the ledge it's not like he's sitting there in the dark on his own.

I agree with this conjecture. I think they might have moved four boys from the 'stuck' cave to chamber 3, and then assessed them. Then move them out from chamber 3 to the exit.

Lots of this stuff is getting slightly garbled in translations and some reporters trying to be the first to 'break' something big instead of waiting for official confirmation.

I think they'll keep at least two of the medic Seals in the 'stuck' cave with whoever's the last to exit..I don't think anyone will be left down there alone and waiting for someone to come back for them.

Doctors are determining when/if the boys can meet immediate relatives yet and probably through glass at the moment. They seem to have a lot of bases covered, the mental health of parents and boys is being considered and the teachers have been tutored in how to deal with the boys. They are exempted from an exam due next week....no kidding.....and how to talk to them without hurting their feelings about this experience. They will not have to follow any schedules for now.

Good, they are trying to allow these boys to heal in all ways. Good stuff!!
