Updated #ThamLuang #Thamluangcave Chiang Rai governor confirmed the discovery of 13 people inside the cave far from Pattaya beach 400 meter. Medical team is preparing to assist them. The update will be followed after 4 hrs from now.

All 12 boys and their football coach have been found alive after nine days missing in caves in Thailand, the regional governor says.

All 13 are safe, the governor confirmed, speaking after a mammoth search operation in the Tham Luang caves in Chiang Rai.

I wonder if they can set up a transponder beacon in a dry neighboring cave that would work through rock, and get a tunnel made through the rock so that the boys can be lifted out?

How relieved they must be. 9 days no or not much food, clean water, light ... but lots of uncertainty.

Made me think of the Chilean miner's who were rescued from a mine shaft 2,300 ft under ground
