I had some better hopes in recent days as we learned more about the cave structure having those different sections that had spots that may have been in dry sections.

So happy to hear. As already said by others we are not out of the woods yet so lets continue giving them good vibes until they are on the outside.

For now very thankful to hear the news and the amazing effort by the rescuers. Im ELATED and so so HAPPY

Yeah it could be a photo from earlier times in the cave. Its good to wait to confirm if from recent rescue or not.

I seem to recall that they were in this cave once before this incident and there were photos of them in the cave from that previous visit on social media. So there may be old photos brought out now.

The older boys might be able to learn to use the diving gear rather quickly. My son got his diving certification when he was in high school. I think he was 16?

I just hope they can move some of them out before the heavy rains begin.

Thanks for sharing everyone. Its so great to see the live pictures coming in and even though I dont understand a word the newspeople are saying we all can understand that everyone there is happy about the recent news.

And you can really tell how many people and resources have been working on this rescue.

Lets hope the last phase of getting them out goes well.

"We found the 13 people, and they are all safe. But our mission has not done yet. The first plan, we will drain all water out from the cave then we will take all 13 people out of the cave. We are now planning how to send nurse and doctor to inside the cave to check their health and movement. We will work all night."

CNN reporter at your link says the boys are too weak to move right now. I'm sure they'll be ok once they get some food, etc. to them.
