Vashely88! I'm so sorry to hear about your sister and her friends! Did they ever catch the guys? Oh my gosh, that is horrible. i can't imagine how anyone gets over that!
I thought the same thing, but do we know how old RA is/was ata the time? But Tawni's mom said she had met the parents of the girl she spent the night with after the shoplifting incident. It is odd to me that she spent the night with her friend, then came home the next day with a new woman to get her things to be gone for a few days. Do we know if Tawni's luggage was in the car? Is it possible that this "woman" dropped her off at the mini mart and that's where she met up with LDJ/AF? Going on the far fetched assumption that some of what LDJ said was true. Also, was there make-up and stuff in the car? Or jeans? Trying to think where Tawni changed clothes that day. Is there anyway to pull up the pics of the contents of the car?
http://www.phoenixnewtimes.com/2008...has-closure-nine-years-after-she-disappeared/"Based on what [DeJong] told me, I believe that Walker was trying to turn Tawni into a prostitute and that they were on their way to a truck stop in Eloy or someplace near there," Lancaster told New Times on Sunday. "Lindsay said she tried to grab her by her feet, but she just went out the window, and William wouldn't stop to help her. It was a very cold-blooded act on his part. She was just a piece of meat to him."
Where did we hear about the truck stop? That's new to me, can you fill me in? I think she realized she had gotten in over her head. I don't think she was planning on running away for good or going very far. I'm still not sure if she jumped or was pushed out of the car.
I just read the Phoenix New Time's article. They didn't know that A.F. was WW???? ADF was a known and documented alias of William Walker! Besides wasn't it LE that said the occupants of the car were recently re-interviewed and they believed that they had no information about Tawni's identity? LE was so certain the occupants had no information, they posted this statement on the ME website.
I'm learning a lot about LE and accuracy.![]()
Can't they be liable for hindering an investigation, or withholding information? Something!?
Statute of limitations, folks...this is where the states case is very weak.
There is no statue of limitations for murder.
What a complete and total clusterf**k! I've been thinking the last few days about what happened in that car. I've had my doubts all along that Tawni jumped out of the window on her own. But whether WW physically pushed her or just frightened her to the point where she feared for her well-being enough to jump, he is responsible for her death. I want him to be punished. And Lindsey too. There is no longer any doubt in my mind they both knew her name and have withheld that information for all these years. WTH? With so very many mistakes made in Tawni's case, I hope and pray that - from this point forward - everything will go as it should. For me, that will include a murder charge for WW and accessory to murder for LDJ. :furious::furious::furious:
Fairy1 you took the words out of my mouth. I have been ranting and raving on theses same points all day. and when did we find out that AF was WW? They should both go down for murder.:furious::furious: and I have a strong gut feeling that Mr. O'sullivan should too. I would like to get some more info on Brian.:furious: see you all on the other threads.
I have given a lot of thought to AF/WW's statement that "JAne doe jumped in the car". What a crock. What is the first thing that a good parent(s) teach their babies? beware of strangers. growing up - my mom and I had a code system. If someone said that they had been sent by mommy to pick me up, they had to give me the code word. (Mom was going thru a NASTY divorce at the time) and if they failed the test I was to get a teacher or who ever I was with for help. don't laugh, my code word was Rainbow Bright. Ok laugh. it was the 80's and I am girl.better than Strawberry Shortcake. lol
If your name was SassyAnne and you were a boy, I'd be a little disturbed!
