Thank you JBean, my point exactly. Sometimes a picture is not worth a thousand words.
But a video can be even more telling, no?
Remember Casey Anthony on the steps, wiping her eyes over and over, with not a tear shed?
How about Susan Smith? Did anyone get a weird feeling when she was speaking? I know I did.
Diane Downs was always creepy as heck, so I guess that's not a good analogy...then again, maybe it is...
And while, it would be wrong to take just the video (and especially just a picture) and use it to point to your beliefs in toto, they do help (along with the many other things we discuss here) to paint a picture of a woman who is guilty of something so heinous none of us really want to believe it.
How odd it would be if we find out later that Terri was doing and saying all those things in a vaccum. If she did not do something to that little boy (who trusted and loved her) she's giving an awfully good impression of someone who did.
Correct, Terri was certainly not living in a vacuum, all the more reason to look to her space and whom was in her immediate proximity.
I wish that, just for a moment, we would take a step back. Every person you are referring to in your post has been found guilty, yes? Have you never heard those kinds of things said about someone who turned out to be innocent?
Not sure why there seems to be such a rush to judgment in this case. We all want Kyron found. We all want him to be loved, appreciated and cared for. Many of us would take him in ourselves in a NYminute and put him under our protective wings, maybe that's it, IDK, but I see a huge rush to judgment here.
JMO, When I first saw that first family presser, June 11, all of the parents behavior looked suspect to me. As most of us who were following the case back then agreed, why on earth did they wait a week to come forward to plead for their son's return.? It was all weird. I can't go into why or whom I think looked weird, but that's okay. I can say this now, and it can explain Terri's demeanor, Terri had been through multiple hour long interviews with LE by then, (up to 5 hours at a time from what I understand). She looks like a puppy looking for nothing more than approval to me. Someone who's saying "please don't throw me under the bus, don't throw me off the team, I didn't have anything to do with it".
Now, that's just what I see, as in JBean's example above, some will see different. So what? Doesn't get us any closer to finding Kyron. I want to know what the task force is doing? What have they found? To heck with all this other stuff, but then, that's JMO.

I'm probably goofy as all get-out, but I replicated Terri's pose in those pictures - specifically the one where she is holding one arm near the elbow. I don't want to influence anyone by saying what I think, but try it.
It shows me a grieving family. I would like to see the full view of that exact shot that is being displayed. I have looked at the website and see nothing in all 4 of them standing in that particular zoomed in picture of TH,KH and DY... All I see is TH, and KY embrassing a Mother of a missing son and their missing son as well..And TY too... At the end of the day, matters not what I think I see...it's the family's feelings and far be it from me to judge otherwise...
Thanks! That was fun! Eight out of ten!
p.s. It says "it seems you know your java beans from your fava beans" *lol*
Of course Berkowitz was a "gimme"
TONY YOUNG: I explained to each person that now our lives are not private anymore, that the investigators are going to want to know very detailed information about our lives.
That's when Tony noticed something unsettling. He says Terri, Kyron's stepmom, seemed to bristle at the idea that she would be questioned.
TONY YOUNG: She instantly started to express some displeasure at that, and not wantingfeeling like she was persecuted. And I thought that was kind of an unusual reaction that early.
crying , swollen eyes , no rest, stress, no make up...I dunno..my eyes swell and look goofy when I cry a lot...not to say that is what it is, just a observation on my part..
Exactly Emma. The first sign I notice when someone is pregnant is them putting their hand on their belly just like that...That to me was the most heartwrenching body language of the video...Her baby is not safe where he should be...Her womb aches...

I was searching through OregonLive's archives for stuff about Sauvie Island and came across this picture, which I think is worth a thousand words.
Desiree = Tears
Terri = Dry cheeks, no tears, nothing. She's holding a kleenex, in my opinion, for show.
Terri does look worried, but is it about Kyron or herself? :furious:
