Agree, if that is what happened. I think that leaves some doubt that any of Claudia's friends were involved unless you can come up with a strong motive, I'm not seeing one yet. Are the perpetrators local or County Lines drug gangs or Claudia's friends? Not seeing any link between these as yet.

I think it depends on your perspective - I’m in the middle ground, open minded, no attachments - my only motive is to see justice.

Reading here about possible other crimes going on around there at the time. I have to assume undercover police activity before and after the murder!
Fox should be investigating the Force . Over 100 officers involved at the time .How many of them asked the wrong questions? How many of them did not jot down answers to their questions?
I know of at least two interviewing me !!
Surely some of these 100 must have had other investigations going on .
Could some of them drifted away from Claudia’s ( possible ) murder?
In their defence it was a missing person investigation to begin with .

With respect It’s easy to be critical, it’s a complex enquiry, we have the benefit of hindsight. investigations are reviewed , lessons are learned. I don’t think NYP made any mistakes as such, they focused resources on the known/given intelligence at the time.

IIRC, at one point early in the investigation there was mention of DNA being found on a cigarette butt in Claudia's car. At the time, police said they didn't know who that belonged to.

There have been great advances in the intervening years with regard to DNA testing, particularly "forensic genealogy." It seems to be used a lot in the country I'm located in, with great success, but what is the situation in the UK? Is this something being utilized for cold cases? Is it used at all for that matter?

Someone on here asked me recently do I think this case will ever be solved? And yes on many occasions especially since Christmas 22 I have thought yes. I’ve been reflecting on the question - what would it take and is it lawfully possible to convict on circumstantial evidence alone and according to Uk law and case history yes it is. So perps and friends of the perps may think - there’s no body, there’s no motive, there’s no scene, however there is evidence - ok circumstantial but it can proceed on that alone. Leurman you feel there’s no evidence re friends of Claudia - there obviously is or the police would have had nothing to put to the cps. Even in the public eye as we have seen over recent days - there is footage and it does show evidence of perps close to Claudias at a critical time - there were witnesses - even on here only a matter of a few weeks ago Cortina stated there was commotion or words to that effect outside Claudias on the evening of the 18th - that information has come from someone local who has witnessed it in my opinion. Alleywayman is one of 4 take your pick!

You have to look at the full picture I sent - this in my opinion is a perp moving away from the scene between the front and rear vehicle - if you look at Shadwell 4 frame footage reposted yesterday you can see this man seemingly passing the front vehicle - wether he walks off towards the white van would be interesting to know. Or does he get in to the lead unidentifiable vehicle in front of the suv ?

Thinking on - the mirror (msm) must have the upstairs footage from the bus - I wonder if it’s obtainable @Major if you’re reading this

Indeed and well written, also as I understand it they're witnesses who the police know who will for some reason or other not testify in court. This is the first time ive read that there was a commotion outside CL house on the evening of 18th - do you have anymore information on this please?
