I wish NYP would realise more information but obviously they’re limited with what they can share publicly. It’ll be 14 years soon and 15 years next year!

No need to apologies I knew the answer anyway !

Skeletal data is as unique as dna or finger prints - deformities, broken bones fractures etc can be seen using this process. So take alleyman for example - he looks to have a bit of a limp - this could be muscular or it could be skeletal data stripped back on these images can prove beyond any doubt. This process can make even the fuzziest of image become the evidential key.
Has this been proven in court as yet ? I mean is there a precedent?

I’m thinking the issue isn’t with the mobile data’s - I am fairly sure the mobile data forms the back bone of the case and evidence against the perps - the issue of proven beyond doubt is the lack of the big three scene, body and motive. I do not think they all claimed to be together in interview..
I keep seeing references to fuzzy photos - I would think this is a statement to discredit and drive our investigation away from looking deeper into the bus cctv.

Digital enhancing has come a long way - packages like photoshop and lightroom for instance have become powerful tools for the graphics market, similar ly these freebie tools for making even the less attractive of us into supermodels. These fuzzy images will in time provide an evidential blueprint of what took place - this is an area I am interested in there is groundbreaking work going on in forensic science taking these images back to almost what an X-ray looks like - taking pictures of perps stripping away the detail and matching up skeletal features and similarities. The bus cctv will probably in the future provide enough evidence to proceed - make no mistake - so to my Fellow Sleuths - crack on - justice is only a click away!
Very articulate, and a perceptive view of how the fast progress of digital enhancing technology will show new evidence on this case. Only a matter of when not if.

Skeletal recognition is still in R&D it’s been trialed by intelligence agencies and proved highly successful - I think a cold case like Claudia Lawrance - especially given the amount of low quality cctv - could be a good test case in the Uk.

I just want to say this morning i was kinda half asleep. "Ran Over" as the bus was passing sounds stupid.
Like nobody wd ring an ambulance

Sounds very promising, I had not heard about this before. Still struggling to find a motive as to why four friends might consider murder, this is the most baffling aspect and why I still have a gut feeling this was a stranger attack on the morning of the 19th. If I'm proven wrong though I will be pleased.

Is that melrosegate bridge then?
Over wouldn't be that bad but if she walked under it on route to work that would be off putting to me 4 sure

A couple of points:

1. The original bus CCTV shows the vehicle speed at the top of the frame and “BRAKE” when the brake pedal is pressed. There is no indication of the bus braking when passing 46 HR, as might be expected if someone ran out in front of it. The second, higher camera mounted at the rear and sighting down the nearside of the bus would also have seen anything of this nature.

2. IIRC @cortina did at one point refer to things “kicking off” but later clarified that this was a reference to the start of the chain of events leading to CL’s disappearance, rather than any knowledge of commotion outside 46 HR.

I think you will be very pleased then as i doubt very much it was a stranger attack and i think people who genuinely want to solve it will find the motive

Please look at msm, study the case, look at the evidence the police have provided and listen to what seasoned officers - highly experienced are saying in the press conferences. This is 100% an attack, executed by at least two men who Claudia Lawrance knew well. Further more they can be seen carrying out their attack on the bus cctv.

There is a clear motive, just not one that be discussed without evidence. I’m sure the team know or strongly suspect the motive - crumbs run back through this thread and I think you will find at least two suggesting the same motive

It looks to me that the police have absolutely nothing !

Hmmm I’d suggest the “kicking off comment” was accurate and witnessed by locals. There was a question which referred to this “kicking off” by another poster asking if it was to do with Claudias relationships or the drugs investigation at the nags - don’t quote me on specifics of the words - that was the general flavour of the post.

If I was the perps, or partners, loved ones of the perps, I’d get out there and enjoy the lives and freedoms you have now, make provisions , move money and prepare yourself for what lays enviably ahead .

Blonderabbit, what is the claer motive?

As I’ve stated before - I don’t feel I can discuss it as it’s only hearsay to me and having tried to research it - I cannot find proof.

If you want to help me so I can open it up - have any of the 4 ever been charged /convicted with drugs offences?

Do you think we’ll get anything new for her anniversary ?

if there is anything in this then a valid question is : was she a police informer ? Did her handler mess up ?
She was very good at keeping secrets wasn’t she ?

@Becci She walked over the Melrosegate bridge en route to work. It is now a cycle route, part of the Sustrans cycle route, not sure it was in 2009
