And I happen to agree ! But somehow many still believe that the famous 4 are guilty !

Probably worth remembering that all of these posters on all of these sites, are more or less the same people posting the same old nonsense. At its core, it's probably no more than 5 prolific people repeating the same things all over the show.

When you think about it, the human mind is an amazing thing in that even though the CPS laughed "the evidence" out of court, these prolific posters on various forums refuse to accept that the polis do not know who did it. I put it down to new farming methods and pesticides sending people 'round the bend.

On another site it was mentioned the Police know who it was

It's the same prolific people posting on all sites including this one.

It's a contradiction in terms. In the event the polis know who did it then they must have the evidence, but given that nobody has been put in a court of law that clearly tells you that they do not have the evidence.

These people are cranks, man, for crying out loud.

With regards to phone technology in 2009, I've had a quick look at what specs most phones had back then. Quite a few had GPS such as the iphone, Samsung, LG, Blackberry etc. Do we know what phone she had? Also if the phone possibly had the capability to tell the user where they where exactly, was it the case that the mobile provider or Google/Apple kept a record back then of their movements like they do today?

Aye, Claudia's mobile model is known but I can't remember what it is.

Either way, I'm pretty sure GPS tracking was unreliable in 2009.

Samsung D900. Quite basic. Most phones were really basic in 2009.

If she habitually went out of the back of her house to walk to work, instead of the front door, people who knew her could know that habit and her be confronted in the alley by someone. But it wouldn't seem a sensible way to have a route to work. My thoughts are still though that she had a lift or was picked up by car en-route. 3 miles is a long way to walk at that time in the morning.

One thing that doesn't add up to me though is - she had a bicycle in the house. Why not cycle to work. Unless she knew from experience, that people she knew could pick her up en route at that time in the morning.

Also apparently leaving by the back is a more direct route to Melrosegate and quicker. Does anyone have a map of the routes?

Except phone located in Heworth location ruled out the notion that she could be at Melrosegate or near the university?

So if she was still in Heworth with her phone, I can see why the Police might have thought something happened at the back of her house.

A woman living alone is vulnerable.

So why wouldn't a friend she text last reply? Because she lived nearby and went round to see her?

I think it's more likely than not that something befell Claudia that evening. In that case the killer(s) would have had a good head start in disposing of her body.
