The police still say the dark man is still key.
You say they know who he is.Does not make much sense to me.Did he identify himself and gave a reasonable explanation as to what he was doing there ?

His arrest followed soon after the Lime Court police cctv campaign and was reported by a number of sources as being as a consequence of the cctv appeal.

It was originaly though that it was a landlord of the properties of 11 and 13 Heworth Place. He died and was found 3 weeks after Claudia dissapeared. We don't know when he died though-It was a suspected heart attack. Possible this could point to being suspicious. I don't think that the police wanted to admit to their initial mistake once they had discovered the same person repeating the task of walking up Heworth Place and so they focused more on the second sighting discovered. There is often little mention of a person also on both cctv footage in a white jacket coat. For me this ties the two together as to be the same person,

I was going to mention this. If they have been complicit in a crime, why have neither of them ever been named as suspects or been questioned? The more l think about this case, the less it makes sense.

They have both been interviewed many times. JK felt the heat in 2015 when PR was arrested and she was involved in the police interviews. According to her version, police told her DR had confessed to murder, to see how she reacted.

No he wasn't involved he was a cleaner who cleaned railway carriages at unsociable times of day.

Would it not be more than that though. Im sure that if he was arrested for this statement and it then transpired he was joking and could provide an alibi, then he would have been bailed as quick as Geordie Mick.

That footage is strange. I’ve looked at it again with a more open mind and he was definitely there for a significant reason, even if not connected to Claudia. It looks like he has a dark bag over his shoulder and does suddenly stop when he sees the passer by. I think he also had the bag when walking up to the alley. He also looks round twice as he gets to the corner, once behind and then up from where he’s just walked.
But who is he ? What was he doing in such a short space of time? The police must have identified him but why hasn’t anyone else publicly named him ?He must be a local.

Don't be fooled by the limp , it is so obviously overstated and put on .Particularly the last visible step .
Also , having visited the area recently that path had a camber and so most people would have one leg lower than the other .

The person here is trying to fit someone else up

Did you notice the person passing by with the white jacket again ?
Very few people mention him but he is in both morning and evening also , albeit in different sides of Heworth Road .

Thank you. That’s the morning footage? Definitely the same man but he doesn't appear to have a bag with him. He obviously has a purpose for being there but whatever could it be in such a short time frame ?

I’m sure it’s a bag. On the morning footage it’s quite clear he’s not carrying anything. That’s a good point about not being seen together but I don’t see the purpose of white jacket man. The only explanation I can think of is he’s picking/dropping drugs but then why not go the back way , instead of in full view. If these two men are involved, what part could the NH four have played ?

I thought her setting off was estimated a little later? The focus braked just before 6. I’m certain the focus is involved because of timings but I can’t fathom where one of those men fit in let alone two.
