I was just sitting here contemplating a nice beer and thinking things triggered by comments here and the huge amount of speculation about the event.
I was thinking given that PA's working day was not going to start for a few hours (US time) and that NB had a work meeting scheduled for 9.00, and knowing they share the school run and dog walking, it's a real shame that they didn't swap and have PA take the girls to school that day to give Nicola a bit more time before 9.00.

If he had, life for so many people would be continuing normally, and we all would have been far more constructively employed for the last 10 days or so.

Hardly bears thinking about.

Is the company she works for one single national company which employ’s people (employed or self employed) or is it a company which has people in different areas who have taken on a franchise? I expect the Police will have looked into the nature of the Teams meeting and the content as to whether it was training, company update, meeting targets etc. I know someone who logged in to a Skype meeting a few years ago with the company they worked for (different line of work completely) and the meeting was to tell the employees that they were having to make redundancies.

I did find it odd that it was actually the family friend that released the CCTV not the police. It definitely feels like the family and friends are doing their own thing whilst police concentrate on their theories. Jmo.

Just because it’s been bugging me for a while on a few peoples posts. Can’t we just presume a post is in your opinion rather than the need for IMO, JMO, MOO, it’s excessive.

It’s there to safeguard the poster and the forum itself. Some people do occasionally post about a case definitively, which we can’t do when we’re discussing aspects of it that aren’t concrete or confirmed.

You’d probably be grateful if someone involved in a case saw your post and didn’t have to accept what you said as being a definitive view of something because you’ve stated it was your opinion only, as that only leads to potential trouble and legality issues.

Has anyone seen any footage of what the sonar man is looking at while scanning the river bed? It is such good equipment and so expensive that one assumes there would be some footage just to give us examples of what the display is like.
