I believe she was wearing a grey skirt, peach blouse, a dark or black blazer and low stilettos. Women's lightweight clothing probably would not have had pockets, so she would have needed to have carried her purse in her hand. But I'm still asking myself why she didn't take her handbag. It would be very unusual for a woman to go anywhere at all without one. It seems to suggest that she wasn't intending to be gone long.
If she'd intended to go to the POW to collect her stuff, as DV suggests, she'd need something (handbag)? to carry her stuff back in.
One explanation for the lack of handbag could be that, if sjl had the keys and the details in one hand, it may be easier to carry a purse in the other separately (I used to work in an estate agency myself and one of the everyday dilemmas was whether to take a handbag as well as everything else).
Imvho, she intended to do whatever she needed to (be it viewing or personal errand) and return pretty much straight away.)
