"Billie Dunn, whose 13-year-old daughter has been missing since last December, says she has a protective order against Shawn Adkins, her former live-in boyfriend and the only named suspect in Hailey Dunn's disappearance.

Billie Dunn called KTAB reporter Priscilla Luong to inform her of the protective order, saying she had forgotten to mention it in the news conference she gave this afternoon."

I agree its the night in the pokey. Threatening to kill her, Clint and Hailey she didnt get one.Her daughter missing and him the #1 suspect she didnt get one.

It is all unraveling. Because of the . This case may have gone unsolved like so many others. But the deviant sex is going to be what brings everything into focus and puts pressure to bear on BD and SA. This case has been broken wide open.

First one to offer up the location of Hailey gets the deal. It's going to be Shawn IMO. Billie still thinks she is smarter than Law Enforcement. Even in her press conference she said LE is just trying to pin this on someone. Didn't she learn her lesson yet that you don't tick of LE?

To be honest i think it will be Shawn too. From the very start he said look at us both. For all his faults..he just doesnt come across as cunning as her.

Well she doesnt have any kids left at home for him to threaten so she cant say she lied because he was threatening her and she was scared. A bunch of LE at her door. She could have stepped outside and told them what was going on.

I'm not sure about this...I just googled & it looks like the best she could've gotten, (so quickly), is a temporary 20 day order. unless she actually filed this at an earlier date. But if that's the case, why did she lie to police about him being at her house? MOO

In the very first interviews, where BD was told Shawn had failed his poly ( and before she failed her own), LE suggested BD get a PO, and she agreed. Maybe this is the PO she is talking about????

Not that it has stopped her from seeing him, but it may explain how LE 'told BD to stay away from SA'. I questioned LE's authority to do this, but if a PO is in effect, then they certainly would remind her of the consequences to SA if he should ignore that PO.


Hence all the denials of being with SA, followed by lieing to LE about his being at her home, and rounded out by a swift kick under a bus wheel (He came around here).

If LE wanted her to have this order remember there were investigators from the DA office on this call to her home, they could have called the Justice of the Peace, (magistrate) for a temporary emergency order I think.

I'm thinking LE is playing with her to be honest.

Sooo... was she... watching her press conference with her speech writer, felt she left something out of utmost importance, called the newsroom and screamed "Don't you know who I am?!! Let me thru!" Decides to edit INTO her story that she forgot another lie... whoopsies.
