Just wanted to clarify that Zionsville is in Boone County. Lebanon is our County seat. I shared a picture of our Pizza Hut yesterday on here being rebuilt.

I just wanted to share this as an example of how we need to keep an open mind on possible BG’s. I snapped this picture on my walk in Lebanon today. Our Pizza Hut is getting a new building. I noticed the blue coats hanging over the top. I have seen others suggest that there are...

I have a question for any of our legal members. Yesterday, our Sheriff in Boone County (IN) made a FB post explaining why he is allowing an RSO to pitch his tent on the grounds of our Sheriff Dept. The RSO was previously camped out under a railroad bridge in our town. He explained that he...

You are correct. Many here in rural Indiana set up bales of hay with targets, or shoot into a creek bank just to keep our skills sharp or to teach our loved ones weapon safety. I was in Carroll County last evening and heard a single gunshot (in the distance) as I arrived at my destination...

The wording has been changed in the linked article. It no longer says that they were shot. https://m.gazette.com/suspect-in-mount-herman-hatchet-threats-charged-with-menacing/article/1613915

Do you think perhaps the shoe of the biker was in a different location than the bike because DN was using the bike for errands? Perhaps the bike was found abandoned because it was not being used at the time? Bikes do not use gas and they are fairly quiet.

I watched the Jessica Chambers court proceedings and I was taught so much about cell phone data and how it is used in a court case. Oh my goodness, the information I learned was fascinating. Even deleted text messages from a phone was collected! The gentleman who shared his info took a very...

I made the trip to northern Indiana today. Just after the Delphi exit on 65, I snapped a picture of an abandoned hotel. I thought it had been torn down but it still stands. Also at this exit (State Road 43 and 65), there is Prophetstown State Park. Just in case the BG is hanging out in...

M.kay, I learned nothing new today. Dr. Oz did state that there was someone captured in the photo of Abby (on the bridge) hiding behind a tree. As kizzykat mentioned above, that was quite odd.

Thank you for sharing what states evidence means. So, for example: could an accomplice to the crime (driver of getaway car) fess up and say, “he killed the victim, I just drove the darned car?” Hoping that they will get a lesser sentence by confessing and helping the state with their case?

Can you explain what “turned states evidence” means? I am fairly new at this and want to understand. Thank you in advance.

Ever since the court fiasco on Monday, I have been in a funk. Just a blue funk mood. Has anyone else? I’ve followed this ever since it hit our local news (when it happened,) and wanted so much to see a clear ending for her family. My heart just hurts for Jessica’s parents and loved ones.

This should certainly be brought up as an example in a future trial. How easily those who hear a name keep repeating it without thought. How telling is that!

Do you really think they have spoken with the families? That would make me feel better, if so. I agree, they are showing strength and dignity.

Could someone give me a quick recap? I’ve been at a doctor appointment and missed the last couple of hours. I’m afraid if I start reading all of the posts I will miss something.

He does have a rape offense on the courtview site. I am not fully educated on how to decipher the language. The rape case was in 2014. I can not understand if the charges were dropped or if he was punished.

I am watching it too. It is educating me on the cell phone technology. Even texts that were deleted from a phone are being used as evidence. Amazing.
