I don't mean to imply that I think Sara was indulged in any way, but I do think that the 'family' (not Sara) may have provided the mother with this staged? filtered photo? knowing that the mother was happy with her daughter's ambitions (and her apparent freedom to be ambitious)? and mum would...
Staged photo's with filters applied? to impress mother and show how all is well?
Her mum has said that Sara wanted to be a model, so mum could well have liked such a photo and so would Sara - hence the agreeable smile?
I imagine that when someone has just gone missing and the police want to question you about it, you can either take their advice and go home to speak to them or accompany them to their office, you would not have the choice of 'joining in' the search at that point-I hope.
But on this basis, the whole of the river and surrounding fields and woodland would be a 'potential scene' since it is not known where, how, or why NB entered the water?
I really do not understand the idea of 'private information' when a person is missing.
Should no-one know if a missing person has e.g. dementia, a heart condition, learning difficulties,
diabetes, is pregnant etc? as in 'this person needs their medication'
Knowing about some things helps explain...
I would think that he meant what he said, that she was not secretive or underhand and did not hide her problems with drink, he is family and her family are family and they knew her and her past. He doesn't imply that there are zero difficulties.
I'd like to say to:
Stella Creasey:
The Lancashire police are human beings like yourself, and the pressure on people does not go unfelt however professionally they behave, the pressure being put on them now could well be a serious distraction to them as individuals trying to find a missing...
But they fit well to me.
Taking the children to school then the dog for a walk are normal reasons to leave the house and be out in the countryside by the river without anyone asking questions or seeing anything out of the ordinary.
Ditto logging on to the work call means that work would note...
In my experience (not personal) there's not necessarily swings of behaviour, nor any evidence of a heavy drinker unless you look for it or recognise it. Someone who drinks consistently over a period of time and is dependent on alcohol is never actually sober, you never meet the sober person and...
They were immediately looking for a whole missing person, not blood or hairs.
If there were a crime scene, it would be the whole area, and abduction or murder would not necessarily involve any evidence being left.
But if that were possible, there would be traces of everyone who used the bench plus animals who get onto it, it's a public bench.
There is no evidence that NB was on the bench that day, but maybe trace of her having been on it on a previous day which would not help.
